Nachos should have soft melted cheese on top similar to that on a pizza not a solid mass. My pie was small and lacked filling. Pastry hard like it may have been cooked more than once or had been kept warm for too long. Burger very nice and moist (pleasant surprise as I expected overcooked and tasteless)
Came here last night as a group of 16. Portions were very good value for money and food was excellent. Surf and turf was cooked to perfection, hats off to the chef, who we were told is called Craig. All meals came out within minutes of each other so we could all eat at the same time. Will definitely be back.
We had our Christmas Day Dinner here again for the 3rd year running and can honestly say it was the best one so far the canapes were amazing and could have just stuck with those, but the freshly done veg and the roast meats and all the trimmings were just as good and the pudding was a great end to our dinner well stuffed afterwards and all the staff are amazing and did a great job with a smile and a laugh for everyone, so thank you to all and cant wait for next year
Have been coming into the fairways for years, but not been to eat for a while. We decided to come up for a couple of drinks and tea as it was a bank holiday weekend. The staff are cheerful and helpful and the service was excellent. We decided on our food and it arrived promptly and very well presented. The portions are very large and more than we could finish excellent value for money. Great pub with fantastic food so much better than the usual warmed up stuff you get. Will definatly be back 🙂👍
We recently visited for my Mum’s 60th birthday and the food was fantastic. Great value and everyone said their meals tasted great! Staff very helpful. Definitely recommend a visit to the restaurant since the refurbishment. Thanks.
