The hotel was fine and did exactly as we needed initially. Room fine, checkin staff nice and polite. The issue was the next morning the cleaning staff shouting to each other, talking and laughing really loudly outside the room on the corridor from 8am until 9:30am, meaning we were woke very early and couldn’t get back to sleep. Has put is off staying here in future.

Stayed here from friday 4th-Sunday 6th June.
Bad bits: bed was very uncomfortable. Room was too hot.
Air con didnt work and window didnt open enough to allow for fresh air (understand this is a health and safety issue).

Good bits: friendly and welcoming staff
Easy check in and check out process
Good price
Fantastic pub next door that serves amazing breakfasts!

Booked this hotel for a one night stay as we had some business in the area. Upon opening the door to our allocated room we realised it was extremely dirty, the beds were unmade with duvets and pillows thrown on the floor and the room smelled extremely strongly of cigarette smoke.

We were then allocated a second room which had been cleaned and made up, although there was no soap in any of the dispensers. It was extremely basic accommodation pretty much two beds a desk and a wardrobe.

This hotel suited a purpose for a quick overnight stay, however you definitely get what you pay for in terms of quality - don’t expect any frills or anything above a very basic level hygiene.

The hotel itself was ok, room was unspectacular but for the price wasn't expecting much. Air con may as well have not been there for how limited a job it did. Staff were lovely and even lent my parents a fan for their room. However......I've never come out of a hotel having been bitten by something. Not just a bite on my leg or arm but my shoulders and back absolutely covered in them. For a hotel still with all of their COVID signage up they're clearly not the best when it comes to cleaning and cleanliness. So at the very least, avoid room 213 for now as the mattress nearest the door needs incinerating and replacing

Booked for Easter weekend 3 nights.
Louise took our booking and was very helpful as our son is in a wheelchair.
We got to the hotel and she had even saved us a disabled parking space. The little things that make a big difference.
Definitely recommend and definitely will return.
Great location, Next to a bowling alley and a pub another 100 yards away.

Absolutely appalling hotel, I was so disappointed. Arrived to freezing cold room as window had been left open to turn an all night rave taking place on floor above! Bathroom was mouldy and there were stains in loo when we arrived that hadn’t been cleaned. I’ve sent two emails now to hotel and called reception to complain but no one has got back to me! Very disappointed.

I was looking for a hotel for me and my wife as we had tickets for sheffield arena. This Hotel is only about five mins away by car and is really value for money at only £45. The staff are really friendly and the rooms are really nice with a flat screen tv with sky, broadband, air conditioning ect. I found the rooms very clean and comfy. We also had free use of the gym next door which we didnt use but looked very nice with swimming pool saunas ect. Also just next door is a huge bowling ally with a bar and a food place. will be recommending to friends.

Now to call yourself a hotel you would expect the place to be tidy not worn and run down. The room I was in wasn't hoovered in four days. Sheets weren't changed, and tea wasn't replaced. The staff are really nice it's not there fault. The iron I requested I'd describe it just out of a dump loads of burn marks on the bottom of it.

This to me is a low class B without the breakfast. Wow really really bad. Never again I picked it for the name it's clear id never welcome this place again.
