With far reaching views of the Essex countryside and ancient woodland, the outlook from each pod is simply beautiful. We travelled to Swallows Field this December from wales for a sad Family gathering and needed a safe, socially distanced space to stay. We were met with such warmth from Liz, everything was taken care of for us, from all of our booking details, to accommodating our dog Giant and making our stay super comfortable. Id highly recommend staying at Swallows field, especially for dog lovers! The facilities are top notch, each pod high spec with a lovely shower, kitchen and cute bed area. We really felt at home straight away. The fire kit and pit is a lovely addition, and the little dog care package was adorable (theres even a doggy shower, for muddy walks) Despite the Occassion - we actually left feeling really content and happy, and this was credit to Liz and the secret little spot she's created. This was one of our favourite little getaways. My partner and I recently got engaged so decided to go glamping as going overseas is not really an option right now. The pods are exceptional, very cosy, fully equipped and incredibly clean. Liz goes absolutely above and beyond to make her guests feel welcome, she’s so kind and helpful. I definitely recommend hiring a hot tub and going to the local pub. The location is close to the main town and a massive Sainsburys which is a bonus if you crave any late night snacks! Overall, such an amazing weekend. Can’t recommend this place enough! Thank you Liz and John for making our engagement weekend such a luxury X

We stayed here for two nights and really felt at home straight away. Everything had been considered and we were so impressed with how clean and tidy everything was. Check in was quick and simple by Liz. Liz was super friendly and helpful and kept in contact via text message when ever we had a question. It was easy to find and felt like home from home. We were treated to a winter wonderland when we awoke on our second day.. overnight it had snowed but we had no idea until we opened the blinds. The pod was so warm and cosy we were sad to leave. Thank you to Swallow Field for making our stay so lovely. 🤗

It was such a wonderful stay. The amenities was impeccable and cosy. The welcome was lovely and the pod clean and warm. We hired the hot tub which was such a nice plus to our stay. 12/10 couldn't have been better.
