We recently had a one-night stay at this B&B as we were in Carlisle for a football match. The location was excellent, being mid-way between both the football ground and the city centre (both being only about a 10-minute walk away). It's a wonderful place to stay - a lovely big house, with beautiful decor and great quality furnishings, including... More

This was our first visit to this guest house and was chosen mainly because of its positive reviews. As it was a hurried trip, we only stayed one evening and were allocated a Double ensuite on the top floor, although it was front facing, we spent the evening quietly in warm and comfortable surroundings. All of the rooms were pleasingly... More

Welcome, facilities, comfort, were great. Breakfast just could not be bettered. Staying at Warwick Lodge was an excellent option for us as we were attending the Royal Archaeological Institute's conference at Tulle House - a walk into town was no inconvenience, but rather a delight.

We arrived at this B&B as a pure accident as our original booking feel through due to a leak in the room. Caron provided us with a warm welcome to her beautiful period property. Our room had a large bay window with a single & double bed with lovely warm feather duvets (a luxury not many guest houses provide). The... More

Perfect B and B - great room, super breakfast and a great host: if you are looking for somewhere to stay in Carlisle - just 10 minutes from the centre - look no further! Warwick Lodge is a huge Victorian house (once a school) full of character and charm, and no doubt a never ending DIY project. Highly recommended!

We arrived in Carlisle without a booking and went in search of accommodation for a few nights. Warwick Lodge Guest House had a vacancy and kindly showed me the room before booking. I was impressed straight away and made the booking. The room was one flight up and was lovely with bay windows overlooking the street however, this wasn't a problem... More

I spent two days here after my Hadrian's Wall walk, and it was a wonderful place to just relax and rest up. I had a room on the top floor facing the street, but the windows do a good job of keeping noise out. Great bed and sitting area as well. I asked if there was a place to do... More

Caron ensured our stay in her home was comfortable and memorable. The bathroom was spacious with a bath and seperate shower. Our breakfast was delicious! It was great to be able to park off the street and be able to walk to the town centre.

I stayed here for one night away on business. What a fabulous place. As soon as you arrive and enter the property which is very grand and welcoming as is the host, you know you're going to have a great stay. This is really important when you're a woman on your own. I had a double ensuire room in the... More

Situated about a leisurely 10 minute stroll from the town centre (shops, station, Cathedral) and 15 from the Castle. Bus stops outside. Clean, well organised. Great breakfast. I had a standard single room which was on the compact side (reminded me of Paris) but was all I wanted. En-suite with a great shower, which was easy to use - I... More
