Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The Staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble gave short list of lights and things to adjust and when I came back in evening all small issues were put right. Obviously have a good maintenance fitter on site.

Hotel's Favourite
This is a fantastic no frills hotel. We were visiting family nearby so we pretty much used this hotel as a bed and shower for the night. Yes the hotel looks dated but it was super clean and had everything we needed. The staff were very friendly and helpful. If you are able to use the stairs, its best to get a room on the 1st floor so you can't hear people walking around above you. The hotel was very quiet during the night and we slept well. We also liked how parking was free and very accessible. All in all, the price is very cheap so you know what to expect, but this hotel definetly ticked all our boxes.

The bed is comfortable and so is the armchair. The makings for drinks in the room are generously supplied. The doors are opened with actual keys, which for me, on a mobility scooter, was quite awkward. I’m in room 1, on the ground floor, which is an accessible room and it is well thought out except for the red call button being right next to the light switch at the bedside and unfortunately, on my first night, I set it off when I was groping for the light switch. The night staff tapped on my door but was reassured when I appeared, unharmed and a little embarrassed. I would stay here again and I thoroughly recommend it.

This premier inn is not a Lenny Henry poster child. It is basic and a bit tired. But the rooms were clean and the staff friendly. I can't say the same for the attached beefeater, The service was appalling. The staff were rude and couldn't care less about the customers. I wasn't even served the meal I ordered at first and was treated like it was my fault when I turned it away.

This is the 2nd time we have stayed here after great experience last time. We arrived 5 mins before check in time after a terrible. 5 hour journey through snow and rain. Met by a member of staff who we had clearly interrupted eating. And were informed we would need to pay extra £10 to check in ,5 mins early. We chose to sit and wait. I have never experienced this at any other premier inn or Travelodge which our usual place to stay. I could understand if it was hours earlier. To top it all we booked for breakfast after being told it was busy there were 4 of us in restraint. Staff really nice, but food isn't buffet style so you have to ask for what hot food you want. Will we go back maybe not. It's a fab location

What you would expect from Premier Inn. The staff in the hotel were all very good, rooms all ok etc. The breakfast experience was not good however. Try to book it in advance or suffer the wrath of the rude member of staff running it!

Do not usually write comments on TripAdvisor. But my stay at the Premier Inn on the 09:11:2023 was the worst stay l have had. 1-Hotel looks tired 2- You could smell the dampness as you walked down the corridor to the room. 3-The extractor fan in the bathroom sounded like a electric drill. 4-You could hear the people walking about the room above. The Premiere Inn promised a good night sleep or your money back. I am still waiting for a reply to a email I sent a month ago.

Comfortable bed and no frills hotel in nice country park setting, the wife and I thought it was great value for money for our visit. The hotel generally is in need of a bit of an update but other than that the service and staff were brill, and the breakfast was hearty and plentiful! We would definitely consider staying here again for the price. Obviously it’s not for those seeking a luxury experience, but it’s a decent and well run hotel which has everything you’ll need for a place to stay.

With Premier you always know what you are getting. I think this one looked at bit tired and needs a bit of renovation but met all our needs and a great size car park. Only gripe that I had was that they wanted to charge me £10 for arriving 20 minutes early. If I was in charge then personally I would say 14.00 to 15.00 allow check in if room available and before that charge £10. This would stop people getting grumpy with receptionists.
