Recently returned from Invercauld lodges which are in a perfect location a 5 minute walk to Ballater . I stayed in a well equipped two bed with good wi fi and plenty of television channels, on returning home I realised I had left my electric toothbrush and Gordon posted it back to my home which was appreciated . Hope to return in the autumn.
This was a first visit to Invercauld Lodges Ballater for my wife and I along with our daughter and her 7 month old Labrador Oscar. We were very surprised what the lodges offered with regards to kitchen facilities everything was there for us. The bedrooms were clean and tidy and the manager Gordon, was very helpful, polite and professional upon our arrival explaining some of the local routes to/from town centre which was only a short distance away. The outside area of the lodge was ideal for Oscar to enjoy the very good weather under the shade of the trees. Having stayed in hotels in Ballater in the past we enjoyed our stay at Invercauld Lodges and will book again in the future. If you haven’t stayed in a lodge then please consider Invercauld Lodges Ballater for your stay - you won’t be disappointed.…
Just back from a great week's break at Invercauld Lodges. Lovely setting and a great location for wandering in to Ballater and for exploring Deeside further. The lodge itself was well equipped, very clean really couldn't be faulted. First class.
We have stayed here many times and always enjoy our visit. The lodges are very comfortable and well equipped and nothing is too much trouble for the Manager. We look forward to our next visit. Look out for the red squirrels!
Excellent cabins only 5min walk from Ballatar. Clean and have everything you could want to make your stay comfortable . Wee red squirrel in the grounds is fun to watch. Gordon the owner is friendly and has everything in place for a safe visit. Ballatar has a really good family butchers with excellent meat on offer. Wouldn’t hesitated to recommend these cabins for a really great stay.
Your location Invercauld Lodges 12A Invercauld Rd, Ballater AB35 5RP Self-catering accommodation Pam Grieve 86 points 8 minutes ago Check in was simple. Owner checked in with us not long after arrival to make sure all was ok. There was me, my fiancé and our dog in the Lodge (Balmoral). It was lovely and cosy and just perfect for us. Fully functioning kitchen, modern shower room/toilet. Only 5 min walk into town centre and loads of walks perfect for us. Highly recommended. Will defo be back x
We have just visited the lodges, for a weeks holiday, because of the situation we are in, there is a sense of anxiety. I am glad to say that was blown away; the lodge was great, ample bacterial wash in bathroom and kitchen; the owner Gordon had sanitised the lodge, Very comfortable; with all the mod cons as you would expect. With just a short walk to shops; and restaurants, the ideal situation for us.I am already looking forward to my not to distant visit.would greatly recommend a visit.
excellent cabin, very clean and spacious. Walking distance from local town and shops, and some great walks. Such a peaceful and relaxing break, we will definitely back, and my family and I will be recommending to our friends. Thank you Gordon for a lovely stay. Dean, Mandy and Milly Cooper.
Clean and well managed site. Well located - close to great local walks but also easy access on foot to Ballater town centre. Lodges were clean, warm and well equipped. Dog friendly. Red squirrels very active.
We're currently staying in one of these lovely small Lodges It is fully equipped for our 22 day stay. Gordon does a fantastic job meeting our needs. It is a close walk to the quaint and friendly village of Ballater on the River Dee and is short drive to Balmoral Castle and Braemar. Love it here
