What a fantastic Guest House, we stayed for one night and had breakfast in the morning which was also fantastic. Ash farm is located in a stunning rural location near the canal which is a beautiful walk and next to a very good pub. It is a Georgian farm house which has kept a lot of original features and was decorated for lovely for Christmas, it is very comfortable and run brilliantly by Janice, David and breakfast chef Christian who were extremely welcoming.

We stayed at Ash Farm Country Guest House for one night while visiting a relative in Altrincham. It was clean, comfortable, friendly and great value. Ideally situated in a lovely country setting with a pub right next door! The facilities were as one would expect, with a very good shower. The bed was cosy and comfortable. Complimentary sherry in the room, kettle for tea/coffee making. We enjoyed a good nights sleep. Then a great breakfast! The eggs royale was superb and in a lovely setting, well presented. Overall very happy with our experience and will hopefully have the chance to stay again.

We came over to Manchester to visit our family and we stayed two nights at Ash Farm . The hospitality was outstanding nothing is too much for the hosts . They offer an outstanding experience from the moment you arrive. They went above and beyond for us by allowing our family of 8 to join us , to have breakfast on the Sunday morning before we departed for home . The breakfast which was cooked by the Wife of the Husband and Wife team Was exceptional and front of house by the Husband is so welcoming and helpful The accommodation is beautiful with lots of unique features and personalised touches . We will always return to this accommodation .

We had a lovely stay this weekend for our daughter’s wedding. The hosts (Jan and David) were very welcoming and understanding of our possible late arrival (M6 on a Friday evening!) We had a beautiful en-suite four poster room with lovely touches such as a Cornish ware tea set and a decanter of sherry. An exquisitely presented room. There is also a lovely snug room with wine where you can relax at the end of the day. We had a cooked breakfast both mornings which was made to order. For a small B&B the menu had plenty of choice and David as on hand to ensure that our needs were met. There is a lovely garden area with seating, unfortunately we didn’t have time to enjoy it because of the wedding. If we have a spare weekend we will definitely be back to take the time to fully appreciate this amazing setting and explore the area. Definitely a special place to stay!…

Friendly welcome, we stayed in Room 1 (the four poster bed) and it was gorgeous, the wallpaper, the attention to detail - the complimentary Sherry which we had a little bit of when we arrived. The range of tea and coffees and biscuit jar. They have robes in the wardrobe. Clean tidy and well cared for. Felt homely and cosy. Very peaceful and quiet during the night, the garden is beautiful too. Also we went to the pub next door for dinner and drinks which was nice too and you only have a few steps back to your room. If you book to stay here you won’t be disappointed. There was a fuse trip early in the morning but it was rectified and they apologised at breakfast - it was fine and power was back on by time my hair needed to be dried (shower and lights still worked just not plug sockets), that can happen anywhere and they go out of their way to make sure you are happy and well looked after. We paid £15 each to have breakfast - a large selection of breakfasts on the menu, we had the full English and we both said it was the best breakfast we have ever had and we have stayed in lots of hotels of all budget ranges and this one beats the expensive posh hotel ones…. And shall I tell you why? Because it’s clearly a well loved and nurtured place and they take the time to put care into the food they are making and we were offered more toast twice to go with the breakfast - and again but the second time we were too stuffed even though it was gorgeous bread they toast with. Also I loved to see the 2 cats in the garden so beautiful…I do highly recommend staying here and would stay again if in area. Thank you again.…

We had an amazing time at Ash Farm. Wonderful hosts. The best breakfast we have ever had. On top of the wonderful ambiance of the home was the location. Fantastic pub next door, lots of lovely walks, deer park and other local pubs and towns to visit. Hard to believe such a peaceful and beautiful place is so close to Manchester. Good place to rest in between long trip travelling throughout UK.
