My Partner and I visited this beautiful Bed & Breakfast for our first ever child free holiday on the 22nd of February. I fell in love with it from the pictures on this site and honestly, it was even prettier in real life.
We stayed in room 5 with the Super king sized bed, and it was easily the comforts nights sleep I have ever had!
Everything was spotlessly clean and tidy, and everywhere you looked there were thoughtful little touches really nicely presented.
Rob & Jo were so welcoming and friendly, and really helpful too.
The breakfast was absolutely DELICIOUS, perfectly cooked and beautifully presented.
We genuinely look forward to staying again some day and highly recommend this wonderful B&B. It absolutely deserves it's 5 star rating!

Just returned after a 3 night stay for the New Year and had a fantastic stay at the Cavendish.
The place is spotlessly clean, comfy big beds and all toiletries you need are provided. There is a kettle and drinks replaced daily.
Breakfast could not be faulted from the fresh fruit and cereals, full English that was cooked to order, nice and hot followed by toast and very tasty jams.Fresh juice and tea and coffee.
The hosts were very welcoming and Jo was able to give us some helpful information. They should be very proud of there hotel.
We will certainly be back again and would recommend anyone looking for somewhere to stay in the area should stay here ( if you are lucky enough to get a room )

This is the second time we have stayed at the Cavendish, as we were visiting just as the new C-19 regulations were being introduced, it was an automatic choice for us, as we knew from our previous visit , everything would be spotless and well managed, and we were not wrong.

We stayed from 14th - 24th July, so a lengthy stay. The Covid measures in place are very stringent and professional, which was very reassuring. However, Jo and Rob have not lost sight of the fact that their guests are there to relax and enjoy their time there, and this comes across in all they do and the advice they offer for their guests.

The breakfast choice is excellent, and we had a lot of them....each breakfast was cooked and presented perfectly every single time , thank you Rob.

Not only is the Cavendish exceedingly good value, everything is also of the highest quality, none of your piddly, little bottles of shower gel and shampoo here, but quality toiletries in lovely branded dispensers, the body lotion is excellent.

Thankyou Jo and Rob for a brilliant stay.

Stayed here for 2 nights this hotel is immaculately clean, the rooms are very large lots of added extras like hand soap, hand lotion, tea coffee and herbal tea in the rooms each landing has a fridge where the owners pop a small bottle of milk per room...the breakfast is lovely and so filling. Lovely choice of fresh fruit even in Dec... this is our 2nd stay at this hotel and we will definitely book again.

Me and my boyfriend stayed here for 3 nights and we would highly recommend. Lovely place and was spotlessly clean throughout. Jo and Rob who own it were so friendly and made us feel very welcome. The room we had was again very clean and it was a lovely room. It is very modern throughout and much better than hotels we have stayed at previously in the area. You get a parking permit also so you can park on the street at no extra cost. Breakfast in the mornings was very good. Big portions and very nice too. I had pancakes on the first morning and they were delicious and had the scrambled egg and salmon the following day and this was lovely too. I really enjoyed the brown toast too. It was all very fresh and home cooked. We will be staying here again when we go back to Scarborough. Think this should be a 5 star by far as met all our expectations and if this was on four in a bed would definitely win hands down.

We have just returned from our stay at the cavendish and we both really enjoyed our stay.
We arrived in Scarborough at 12 pm and called at the b& b to ask about parking, on arrival Robert the owner told us our room was ready which was great. Our room was clean and had everything needed for our stay.
The next morning at breakfast our full English was fantastic.
Good quality, fresh and all items were hot.
What stood out for us during our stay was just how friendly and helpful Robert & Joanna are.During breakfast Joanna spoke to all guests and asked about their time in Scarborough. This isn’t something most owners do. But this is what sets the Cavendish from other b & b’s.
We will definitely be back.

Arriving at the Cavendish we were met by Jo and Rob and they were so welcoming,we went to our rooms and they were very clean bright and all the facilities were perfect also the rooms were very big with lots of storage space.
The beds were very very comfortable and we slept well every night.
The breakfast was absolutely fantastic tasty and well presented with lots of choice.
Nothing was too much trouble and we liked all the personal touches for instance remembering our sauces and jams that we asked for on our first breakfast.
Overall the place was very clean and Jo and Rob were excellent hosts
We highly recommend this B&B it is exceptional value for money and with free parking
Its location is very good

Usually stop in hotels, but on my first visit to Scarborough found this B&B, and I’m so glad I did. It is in a great location a short walk from the town centre. I believe there is a permit for street parking although we didn’t need this. The room was immaculately clean, a really huge comfy bed and things like cleanser, cotton wool pads etc and a hairdryer. On each floor there is an iron and ironing board and a fridge where a small reusable glass bottle of milk is kept with your room number on. Excellent idea, no waste, and no single use plastic. You book your breakfast the night before, so again no waste and there is a great selection for you to choose from . I opted for the smoked salmon and scrambled egg and the presentation was equal to that of a top class restaurant. Owners Rob and Jo were lovely people who could not have been more helpful. I would not hesitate to stay here again if I was in Scarborough. A first class stay.

They can’t do enough for you to make your stay as good as possible. From information about buses and how to get to different places of interest as well as making sure you had everything you needed for your stay, its faultless. Fantastic breakfast and superbly decorated rooms to a high standard. The little touches like your own labelled fresh milk in a communal fridge on your landing to the organisational system in place for breakfast. We will definitely be back

Derek & I stayed here five years ago.
So when we decided to revisit Scarborough we knew exactly where we wanted to stay. Rob & Joanna are absolutely amazing hosts, there B&B is spotless! And you’ll be very pleased to hear that they very much adhere to the new regulations regarding Covid-19 too.
The breakfast is extremely tasty, and a great choice too. They are extremely helpful, providing free on street parking and have a lot of knowledge about the local area. Our stay here has been equally as great as the first time we experienced Scarborough. Thank you Rob & Jo xx
