Great little guesthouse for the money! We stayed in the sea view double room with private en-suite and the view was amazing! Great location and clean room. The en-suite is small however absolutely fine for a night or two! The breakfast was really yummy and the host was lovely. Thankyou for a lovely stay.

Once again a 5* stay. Well set up for Covid distancing. Really clean comfy rooms. Fantastic breakfasts. Brilliant views across North bay. Joanne couldn’t be a better hostess. Only the weather spoilt the stay and there is nothing that can be done about that.

Friendly greeting from Joanne on arrival at the Miricia. Nice room; modern, quite spacious, very clean, double bed, tea making facilities, small TV, and a nice ensuite though shower small and pressure quite low. I am so glad I paid the little extra for double room with sea view; the panoramic view of the North bay was absolutely amazing. Location-wise, the Miricia overlooks the North bay. Most of the action seemed to be South Bay, so there’s a bit of a walk up and down some pretty steep hills. Not for the faint hearted. I’m don’t think the bus services come near the hotel; so some walking is required. Parking-wise; roadside permit parking. The Miricia will give you a pass per night, but expires at 10am the next day. Other than that, there is cheap parking available around the corner at St Mary’s church; £5/day. Only thing holding me back from a 5* rating is that we didn’t feel the bed provided us with a good nights sleep, but that’s a personal thing and doesn’t stop me recommending the Miricia for your Scarborough stay. Enjoy.

Absolutely love this hotel. Panoramic views of the north bay, close enough to walk to both bays. The hotel is owned by a lovely lady named Joanne and her family. The whole place is immaculately clean and the breakfasts are filling and all fresh. I can’t wait to return again so much so, we rebooked before we checked out. Well done Joanne .

We stayed for 4 nights and could not have asked for a better B&B. The room we stayed in has a lovely view of the sea front and a private bathroom (not ensuite). The room and bathroom were clean and the bed was very comfortable so had a great sleep as well. The breakfast was lovely, bacon cooked just how I like it and the mushrooms. I would certainly stay again if I was returning to Scarborough and would highly recommend.
