Second visit for my girlfriend and I. Lovely guest house, great value and the host is very pleasant and makes sure you're looked after during your stay. The breakfast is second to none with plenty to set you up for the day. No doubt will look to stay here again on our next visit.

We stayed here for a couple of nights as we were going to watch Durham play Yorkshire and the location is perfect, less than 10 minutes walk to the ground. The Phoenix was very clean and comfortable with lots of little extras to make your stay happy - nice toiletries, flat screen TV and Yorkshire tea, coffee and biscuits in...

Spent New year's eve in Scarborough .stayed for one night and the room was very nice very clean and warm..The fried breakfast was second to none ,very nice and plentiful..The proprietor Jen had time for chat over breakfast ,it was like being at home ..ten out of ten..Will definitely visit again..

A couple of nights here, low season. Many places were shut but this is a gem - excellent value for money, very friendly, clean and comfortable room. Quiet and parking permit provided. Superb vegetarian full English. Wifi in the dining room. Will return.

looks can be deceiving. big rooms, clean, good staff, good brekkie. good value for money. Massive bonus, own car park. Very handy for cricket, pubs and restaurants. stayed for 3 nights, will definitely go back again

Stayed here on Fri 5th September 2014 for 1 night, wished we could have stayed longer. Jenny was a very welcoming host. Room was very clean and comfortable with tea and coffee facilities provided. Breakfast was superb. Will definitely stay again.
