We are in our seventies. With a small wheelie cabin bag, it took thirty minutes to walk from the railway station. We had a warm welcome on arrival (thankyou Catherine). We stayed in room 14 with a sea view looking left towards the Castle and North Shore. (fifth floor no lift) Our room was beautifully furnished with ensuite bathroom (shower over bath). The cleanliness of the room met all our expectations. The comunual lounge was well furnished and maintained. When we are away we do like a good english breakfast. We were not disappointed....it was to die for!!! So much choice, and cooked to order. We would definitely stay here again. Thankyou Johnathon, Catherine, Helen and all the staff in the background that we did not get to meet.
The hotel is very clean and tidy with very friendly staff who will always try and accommodate every request. The rooms are a reasonable size with tea and coffee facilities with a TV. The showers are amazing
First visit to Scarborough, not at its best at the moment, road works, no lifts working to get down the cliff and paths closed on the cliff due to work. Staying at The Mansion House made it a pleasant break though. Spotlessly clean, food was awesome and the staff where friendly and helpful. I can honestly recommend staying here and if I return to Scarborough I would not hesitate in returning to Mansion House.
This is a gem of a Hotel, Premier rooms have a brilliant sea view. Facilities are spot on, lovely staff and a great breakfast. Ideally situated on the Esplanade with amble free parking and great walks both to town and all the gardens overlooking the spa
Stayed one night. Sea view room, two people. Very friendly welcome. Great view over the bay. Spacious, comfortable room. Great breakfast, loads of choice. Would highly recommend and look forward to staying again
