We only stayed for 1 night only, but from the moment we arrived we were made very very welcome, our room was lovely and cozy and had all the facilities we needed. The following morning there was a warm friendly greeting, there was a wide choice for breakfast and the full English breakfast was cooked beautifully. I would recommend this...

Well we’ve just got back from a stay at The Helaina and quite frankly would return there in a heartbeat and will definitely be back there for another stay. We had a room at the front of the hotel with a stunning view of the North Bay where we could watch the surfers and sailing boats. Our host, Kerry, greeted...

We stayed for one night only. The guesthouse is compact in size, but I've not seen such prestine cleanliness throughout an establishment for a long time up to this standard! The room was compact as I said, but very comfortable, with excellent facilities, such as coffee/tea, spacious shower/en-suite and a good quality TV! The communal lounge was comfortable with a...

We had a 2 bed apartment on the 4th floor with brilliant sea view of the north beach. Many 4 star hotels would struggle to match the Helaina for facility and services. The breakfast menu was extensive and freshly cooked to order, Our apartment could best be described as "boutique", beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean .There is an honesty bar...

This is the third time we have been to the Helaina which speaks for itself and again were not disappointed. Parking is on the road outside and the hotel provide parking tickets so we had no difficulty. Rooms are spotless and the tea and coffee making facilities second to none. Breakfasts are freshly cooked with endless tea or coffee and...

Lovely little hotel, tastefully decorated and cosy. Staff couldn't do enough for us, and the cooked breakfast was excellent. There are a lot of stairs, but the staff helpfully offered to help us with our bags. Would highly recommend for couples looking to stay in Scarborough.
