We had a few problems here., the lift was broken which meant we had to walk up several flights of steps to our top floor room. The shower did work properly, which we were told was due to air in the pipes and our room being at the extreme end, but frankly it was just a cheap substandard shower ( they said they are planning to replace) and the breakfast was deeply ordinary. On the plus side, room v clean, lovely view, comfy beds, no traffic noise - we slept with the window open listening to the sea and the gulls. There’s an in- house bar at reasonable prices, and the staff were lovely. I would go back, but I’d be more careful about room choice, better on the lower floors until the lift is fixed and shower replaced.

Lovely hotel in a lovely spot. Fab views from the sea facing rooms. Not the biggest bedroom but everything provided. Really good breakfasts and staff very friendly. It’s such a shame they can’t provide evening meals at the moment. Would definitely stay there again. Parking was easy too.

Family run three star hotel is very good, clean and has friendly reception staff. Our room, no. 19 although on the smalller side compared to some of the reviews has everything you need. I will state the bathroom has a corner shower so not much space. Breakfast is cooked to order and there is a good choice. It will be a boost for the experience once the COVID restrictions are lifted.

I stayed here for one night whilst doing the Cleveland Way walk. The accommodation is first class and the staff very helpful. Lovely breakfast, but at present not providing lunch or evening meals. However, staff were able to suggest alternative dining choices. Definitely worth a longer stay

Just had a three night break at the Weston and were in no way disappointed. During our stay we felt very safe with the covid restrictions in place and all staff were very friendly and helpful. We were allocated a very nice clean spacious sea view room overlooking the bay. The full English breakfasts provided were first class with table service. This was our first visit and we hope to return in the not too distant future and by then perhaps the restaurant will be open for evening meals. We cannot find any negative comments and all in all would highly recommend.
