Stayed on BBEM basis and find it hard to accept the hotel is only rated 2 star. Everything about it was 4 star. Had a lovely first floor room (No 3) overlooking Peasholm Park. Evening meals were excellent, with good choices and the "famous" breakfasts lived up to the name. Only 10 minute walk to Town centre, or regular bus...

Part of a large group of sixteen for a week. We were looked after brilliantly by the owners and staff. Nothing was too much trouble, the rooms were clean and comfortable, atmosphere friendly and relaxed, food excellent. There were some in our party with special diets that were catered for without fuss, this was appreciated. I can highly recommend this...

We wanted to thank you for the wonderful service and attention that you gave our group when we came in September. We spent a week with you and nothing was too much trouble. We were a large group of sixteen and the facilities you allowed us for workshops and meetings were down with such ease that it made our jobs...

We stayed here for a night and were very surprised.....yes décor is in places a little dated but the staff were so friendly and helpful. This is certainly the quieter end of Scarborough which suited us perfectly. Not much around it and not really a hen and stag type of hotel. Breakfast was lovely and well oragnised by the staff....
