Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We stayed here for 4 nights over the late spring Bank holiday in our touring caravan. First time we have visited and we were very impressed. Had a lovely spacious pitch at the end of the row of tourers. The shower and toilet block were small but perfectly adequate and kept very clean, warm and tidy. The dog field was a great bonus for our dog. We visited the Tow Bar pub on site a couple of times and enjoyed the food and atmosphere in there. We used the local bus to get into Scarborough as the bus stops were right outside the site. Helpful and friendly staff made our visit enjoyable.

The campsite has very clean amenities. There are family-sized bathrooms with shower, loo, sink and hairdryers in them. A very nice family- friendly pub at the entrance that does good food and entertainment. Tidy grass touring pitches, and it is within walking distance of the beach (via an underpass and a steep hill). We liked it very much and would definitely stay here again.

This caravan park was perfect after our lovely day in Scarborough. The lady in the reception was very welcoming, our pitch was a good size and not too close to other tourers. The shower blocks/toilets/wash up room were all clean and tidy. The shower block was heated which was a lovely surprise on a chilly evening.
We visited the pub on site for a drink, a very warm welcome and friendly team. We were so surprised at the selection and very reasonable price for our drinks. Although we did not eat here, the food coming out of the kitchen looked delicious and going by the amount of people dining it certainly had the thumbs up from others around us.
We only stayed 1 night, but will definitely be coming back in the future.
Thank you

Good location between Scarborough and Bridlington, bus stops at the park entrance with regular buses in both directions. We when to Scarborough one day and Bridlington the next. As we prefer to leave the car with the caravan this was perfect for us. Great pub at the entrance serving food and drinks, really nice, particularly liked the large beer garden.
Lovely welcome when we arrived and a good information pack
Loved the pitch we were given right on a corner with loads of space for the car and awning plus had the weather been better lots of space to sit out on the grass. Behind us was a field do not overlooked but you could hear road noise which doesn’t bother us but might be a problem if you want a lot of peace and quiet.
Pitch number 22, quite a few around us looked to be seasonally pitched
Showers not the best or the worst, quite small and I’d recommend taking a fold up stool as it got a bit wet in the shower I used
Very hot water, push button (pet hate of mine) and a shower curtain that kept wrapping around me.
Good washing up area which we needed fue to a broken tap in our caravan (we were waiting for a replacement to arrive in the post and when it didn’t come decided to go anyway)

Love coming here, been coming for 15 years as my parents own a caravan on site. The site is so well kept, clean and tidy and is very peaceful, short walk to Cayton beach and there is a bus stop right outside the sight to get to Filey and Scarborough etc, pub on site called the tow bar is nice, huge outdoor area and the food and drink are great and very reasonably priced. All the staff on sight are very pleasant and friendly, this is definitely a happy place for me.

Once again we have had the the perfect stay at Browns. Every single member of staff is incredibly friendly and couldn’t do enough to help. All the facilities are incredibly clean and very modern. We couldn’t recommend Browns enough. Thank you James and Nikki! We will see you again soon!

Just left Browns after our third visit this year. Lovely clean and tidy site pitches are Good size and weed free even though the touring site was busy it’s still very quiet.the facilities are basic but adequate and spotlessly clean. Reception and all staff are friendly and helpful. Buses into Scarborough Filey and Brid stop outside the gate. The Tow Bar is a great addition to an already super site. Not far to the beach (it is a steep walk but there’s a cafe half way)
I can’t understand where the person who gave the negative review is coming from it’s not been our experience and we’ve visited 5 times in the last two years and at all times of year. We look forward to our next visit.

Very disappointing. Have used for a number of years and always enjoyed. No heat in shower block. Staff notifed and no attempt to rectify over a 3 night stay. Only 2units on site so no reason not to update me. Could have opened other block. Poor value when you can't use the showers.

As far as we go this is THE BEST caravan site. It is exceptionally friendly, clean, tidy and everything we possibly want from a site. Toilets/showers are kept lovely and clean which is a big deal for us. Large pitches and a fabulous dog park which is a real bonus. Pub has live outdoor entertainment at weekends. Great base for visiting Scarborough, Brid, Filey etc. We visit her 5/6 times a year, in fact we love it here that much we are swapping our tourer for a static.

Lovely second stay here. Site is wonderful and showers and toilets are exceptionally clean. Pitches are a good size and level . Staff in pub are friendly ( the pub inside could do with updating a bit ). Would definitely stay again

Sorry Pete, don't really use this site for questions. Yes all hard standings (including the single ones) have a path from the road so you never have to walk on the grass/mud!

There are many campervan visit this site, it's perfect. There is a beach within walking distance down a little steep hill. There are many buses which stop just outside the site where you can travel to Filey or Scarborough in a short time, they are very regular so won't have to wait long. There is a lovely independently run pub on the site Tow Bar Inn which has entertainment most nights, serve lovely homely food from 3pm each day all very reasonable and delicious. They serve a lovely Sunday lunch. We've been back four times this year and I can't fault it, clean; friendly family run site.
