Spent a couple of nights here as a weekend break. The hotel was nice enough, helpful staff and everything was clean and tidy. The restaurant was nice with a good choice and great service. The spa was very clean and well kept, made for a very relaxing break.

First of all, the Donnington Valley Valley Hotel and Spa is likely the best hotel in Newbury. Besides the lovely entrance with a nice restaurant just up the staircase, there are a lot to like about this hotel. The gym and SPA facilities are first rate. This is probably one of the best gyms in a hotel I have ever...

We've been to Donnibgton Valley a number of times over the past 5 years and have always enjoyed our stay. The pool area is nice and has the luxury of loungers which you don't often get to the same extent in other spa hotels. Rooms are a good size and comfortable. The great thing about the hotel as a package...

Traveling in business we stayed as a group at this property. Property was very comfortable and welcoming. The staff is what really made a difference. The breakfast staff which seemed to be the evening staff as well did everything they could to serve us all and make us feel welcome. The only thing that frustrated me was I was unable...

First things first. Do not book this hotel if you are expecting a quiet relaxing stay. But as with anything you have to make your own mind up, this was just our experience. Hotel seemed more of a leisure complex. Good sized car park, easy check in and our room was ready at just before 2pm when we arrived. The...

When I arrived they said that my booking had been cancelled which was wrong and they couldn't tell me when or by who. They finally got me a room with a broken window and they said there was no other room. It was so loud with the window open I couldn't get any sleep they couldn't even advise another hotel...

Yet another lovely stay. Debatably expensive but you get what you pay for as the hotel is immaculate, the food is divine and the staff are polite and attentive. We came to celebrate a promotion and felt this was the ideal venue as we were relaxed and had an amazing atmosphere.

We stayed for 2 nights and had a very relaxing stay. Our room was upgraded to a suite which was great and very comfortable. The restaurant food was excellent for both nights and our wine was provided by the Sommelier Chris for our second night. Great unusual choices. Our second day was spent by the pool with a spa treatment...
