Beautifully served breakfasts with lots of choice.. Comfortable, spotlessly clean and well decorated room and ensuite. Lovely couple who will do everything they can to make you comfortable. Good advice on local questions. Friendly place. Well situated. Warm. Thank you Sue and Andy!

Andy and Sue run a lovely guesthouse, situated close to the centre of Minehead, but just off the main drag. Within easy walking distance of the seafront and the West Somerset Railway station - the longest heritage steam railway in England. (sadly temporarily closed because of the pandemic). Also within a longer walk (6 miles each way) along the Coastal Path to the mediaeval village of Dunster and its (National Trust) castle, set high on the hill with spectacular views over the coastal plain.

This was our first visit to Tregonwell House, and I'm sure it won't be the last. Andy & Sue are very welcoming hosts, and nothing is too much trouble. Everything is spotlessly clean and Covid safe, and the breakfasts are delicious - better than a 5* hotel. The location is excellent, and off-street parking is a bonus.

Fantastic stay from start to finish. Andy & Sue were great, really friendly with lots of local knowledge and recommendations for places to eat and visit. The b&b was spotlessly clean with every precaution being taken, eg, hand sanitiser available . Our room was spacious and really comfortable and there was a kettle, mugs, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits and some tasty homemade shortbread. We were told to just ask if we needed anything replacing. The shower was good and there was shower gel and shampoo dispensers. Lovely fluffy towels. Some lovely hand wash was supplied too. The full English breakfast was great, all locally produced and homemade bread too. Tasty filter coffee. We would recommend staying here and are planning to return.
