We had an excellent stay at Kenella House. The hosts were friendly, welcoming and obliging with early breakfasts for us. The b and b was spotlessly clean with attention paid to details. The breakfasts were beautifully cooked, generous, with plenty of choice. The location is ideal for the seafront, shopping, West Somerset Railway and eateries. Certainly hope to be back!

Enjoyed a few days at Kendall House with a friend visiting the West Somerset Railway and cannot speak highly enough about this B&B. Absolutely spotlessly clean, a wonderfully comfortable bed and everything thought of in the room. Fresh flowers in the breakfast room, where a superb breakfast was served, with plenty of choice and all delicious. Nothing was too much trouble for the hosts and they were really helpful. A beautiful house, with proper values of comfort and care. Really made the trip.

Beautiful, immaculately clean accommodation. Steve and Sandy are the perfect hosts and lots of little extras that made our stay so enjoyable. Our sympathetically appointed and decorated room was serviced daily plus biscuits and fresh milk (not UHT) and sweeties everywhere! Fresh white towels, comfortable bed and no unnecessary signage. Breakfasts were good quality and quantity. What joy! Thank you both for being so efficient, friendly but professional.

Our stay at Kenella House was extremely enjoyable. Sandy and Steve were excellent hosts and the accommodation was top class. Our room was really comfortable, it was spacious, tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean with an exceptionally comfortable bed. Attention to detail and lots of extras, such as: bottle opener and wine glasses, biscuits, toiletries, electric fan and an extension lead that made charging phones etc. easy. Breakfast was delicious, chosen from a varied menu with top ups if required. All in all a top class B&B, highly recommended.

Kenella House is a lovely Victorian house situated a short walk away from the Minehead promenade and beach on a quiet residential street. There is limited off street parking at the back of the house. It is ideally located for easy access to the beginning of the South West Coast Path, West Somerset Railway and the Minehead Museum . It is also convenient for the Exmoor Coaster if you fancy exploring further afield. The B&B is beautifully decorated, celebrating its Victorian past, while providing clean, comfortable rooms with modern amenities for their guest. Perhaps the most unique aspect of our stay was the warm welcome and attention shown to us by the owners, Steve and Sandy. The breakfast was filling and delicious. They provide a buffet table with cereals, yogurts, juice and fruit and a breakfast menu that was excellent. They can cater for your dietary requirements. I would recommend informing them at the time of booking. Kenella house is quiet at night, providing tired guest a comfortable night's sleep after a long day of exploring. I would definitely recommend staying there when visiting Minehead or the surrounding area. It is a good base from which to enjoy all that Exmoor has to offer. You'll arrive a guest and leave a friend.

What a lovely, very traditional, spotlessly clean guest house. Lovely owners Steve and Sandy welcomed and looked after us very well, going that extra mile and served up a delicious breakfast, nothing was too much trouble. Can not find fault at all. Would very highly recommend to anyone. Thank you so much.

Sandy and Steve and friendly and welcoming hosts. The b&b is well maintained and spotlessly clean. Breakfast is made using good quality produce. The house is located in a quiet street and is a 10min walk from the local high street and the beach. Highly recommended.

Stayed here for a week and wish it had been longer. A lovely home from home, spotlessly clean. Very friendly owners who were conscious of the covid rules which made us feel quite safe. Breakfasts were superb and Steve and Sandy were very accommodating in tweaking the menu for us. A bonus that it is just a few minutes walk from the promenade, the town centre and the steam railway. Parking is off-road at the rear of the premises and they don't mind you leaving the car all day while you go off exploring. Thank you S & S for a lovely break, we can certainly recommend you to anyone wishing to stay in Minehead.
