We really enjoyed our trip to Woodcombe Lodges. The lodge itself was clean and spacious and extra steps had been taken to make it COVID secure. Gorgeous views from the lodge with outside sitting areas. Very peaceful. Easy to walk into Minehead and enjoyed lots of forest walks in the area both from the lodge and a short car drive away. Looking forward to another visit.

Property's Favourite Review
My Wife and I have been coming to Woodcombe lodges for the last few years and it’s extra special now we have our son to bring along too. As soon as you arrive at Woodcombe your treated like one of the owners family. They make you feel very welcome and always on hand if you need anything. The lodges are amazing, everything you need to hand. They even have a baby seat for the bath to make bathing your little ones so much easier. The games room is always open for a good game of table tennis or pool. If you want a nice escape with local amenities close by then this is the place to go. We all look forward to seeing you again soon Thankyou. One last thing about the area I was unwell when I arrived and we had to visit Minehead hospital and they were amazing!!!!

Many thanks for a lovely review and for taking so much time over it. We feel a bit guilty having taken so long to respond but we got taken over by events. The lock down was pretty painful and now the extra work in ensuring you are all safe from the virus when you arrive takes a lot longer but we still enjoy seeing you and look forward to welcoming you back. Keep safe and well Andrew & Nicola

Visited in Sept. The Lodge we chose was immaculately presented, very clean and had all one could want in the way of amenities for a peaceful and secluded escape. The covered veranda with South facing views was a real bonus and particularly useful if you are taking four legged friends. Despite CV. Andrew came by (socially distanced) shortly after we arrived to welcome us, check there were no issues and give us an insight into local attractions and amenities. An excellent way to recharge your batteries. We will be returning.

Myself and my husband stayed at Holly Lodge last week with my Mother and Gran. We had a great time! Some things were restricted due to Covid like the games room and laundry but we wouldn't have been using them anyway, we had very detailed instructions and advice on what to do, to adhere to the new rules and how the lodges would be cleaned in line with Government advice. The lodge had a lot of pine and could feel at times like you were sat in a sauna but it was large, comfortable, clean and well looked after. It was lovely and quiet with great views across the countryside and you could even see the sea in the distance from the decking area. There was plenty of seating inside and out, parking spaces enough for 3 cars and we weren't overlooked by the other lodges. There were some lovely walks in the surrounding countryside, but be warned, when they say "steep" in the directions, they really mean it!! But the walk to the top of the hill we did was more than worth it for the stunning views. Good location, close to the seafront and amenities of Minehead. Would definitely recommend and would be happy to stay there again.

Lovely small site. easy to travel to amenities and local beaches and villages. We stayed in Pine Lodge which was very nice and the view from the veranda was over hills and countryside. Would recommend if you are looking for a nice peaceful relaxing brake.
