Due to flight being cancelled away back in may 2018 my partner was unable to stay. Owner was very accommodating allowing me to cancel booking via booking.com at no cost. Thank You. Booked a smaller room and gave me directions to excellent Indian restaurant with gluten free food Thank you again Wish all hotels are as accommodating

Car park was a mess with broken furniture, a random horse box, planks and sheets of wood everywhere. There was 3 large pot holes on the drive up that could have broken off your wheel. The automatic gate didn’t work and there wasn’t always staff to buzz you in so we had to keep buzzing and wait. The staff had a bad attitude and the receptionist was drunk when we come to ask for more toilet paper at night. No staff wearing marks or following social distancing. Hotel was a mess and the pub was like a club till 1:30 in the morning. DO NOT GO!

We strongly refute any suggestion that a member of staff working on the night in question was intoxicated. At no point during the evening did the guest discuss the situation with a member of staff. Reviews of this nature bring in to question efficacy of the whole review system/culture, reviews surely should be based upon fact not guess work or misplaced assumptions. I would suggest that this review questions the integrity of both the system and the person submitting the review rather than of the hotel. The hotel will make no further comments regarding this matter.

Great hotel, great food, very nice rooms, very close to town center/train station/London. Very nice staff! Coach house suite is the best room to book! Free parking next to the hotel. Beautiful terrace/patio!

Had an amazing stay at this lovely hotel. Was upgraded when I got there to the suite which was absolutely fantastic. I travel all round the country with my job and normal do not sleep well, but had the first 2 full nights sleep in years. Food was excellent in restaurant and staff amazing, they couldn't do enough for you. I literally cant wait to go back to work in that region.
