Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We had a lovely stay at Luton Hotel Residence. I was a little nervous by the title, and my first impression of the outside of the building. There was absolutely nothing to worry about. Once inside, there is a lovely courtyard sheltered from the outside. It is clean, warm, comfortable, and has basics such as coffee, tea, and a mini fridge. The staff was amazing and helpful, and there is someone at the front 24 hours a day. They were amazingly helpful, from recommending a medical clinic, to calling a taxi, assisting with printing train tickets, and great advice in the neighborhood. Everything you need is right there. A 24 hour store is nextdoor. There is a huge variety of restaurants in the area, and every service you can imagine. I'm very grateful to Antonio and Harsh for all their help, and amazing hospitality. I would not hesitate to recommend their hotel

Thought we would get a hotel close to the airport for 1 night £35 thought OK that's cheap all we need is a bed and a shower so that will do, how wrong were we there is nothing in the room apart from dust and fake flowers the front desk man was useless don't even think of staying here unless where your going is 1 star with a reputation for typhoid as it will make it seem like one hell of an upgrade

Night out with a few friends in Luton over the weekend. Booked here due to how cheap the prices were which was great at first. When you enter the hotel the reception area is dated with a rug that could use some loving along with the dust gathering dried flowers. The room was not much better. The room looked dated and had no heating. It did not look like it had been cleaned at all. I found a sock actually in the bed! so I believe the bed sheets had not been changed. T.V. didn't work along with the wifi. You can connect but there's no service. The carpet tiles were very worn and stained, with debris under the bed. Wardrobe space is hilarious we couldn't even fit our throw over bag into. Bathroom shower head found smashed on the floor along with some other suspect debris. The soap holder and cup holder was covered in rust. Every time you switch the bathroom light on the extractor fan would squeal. Looked closer to see if we could shut it up but the vents were covered in mould. We did enquire for a possible room move for our second night which the receptionist did show us another room. Much of the same in the next room so we cancelled the 2nd night and stayed elsewhere.

Brilliant stay at Luton hotel residents. Room was very tidy and up to standard . After staying in hotels up and down the country for many years . I can honestly say I was highly impressed with this one . All the staff was very friendly both day and night . And the manager "lollie" I think her name was . Was very helpful in giving myself directions in to Luton. Tbf this really helped since I couldn't find fish in a fish market . Excellent stay would highly recommend . My only issue was the noise of people outside walking up and down at night but this happens everywhere and is certainly not the staffs nor the hotels fault . Would I stay again ..yes ! Roll on summer and seeing more sights of Luton and Milton Keynes . Thanks guys and have a very merry Christmas. Gazza .

Stayed for some days, close by the road, good location for travelers, cheap price, room kept clean for the new guest. Very amiable staff (personally came across the night manager named Shane (?) who was very helpful considering my disabilities, the nicest I ever met). The biggest downside is the noise, able to hear every step on a corridor, the road nearby, and the guests in other hotel rooms. Also, apparently, the cleaning service is responsible for just throwing out the litter and nothing else. All in all though, the hotel is very good for it's price, location, and fast and easy availability.

Room was small but service almost excessively attentive, including being shown everything in the room by front desk staff. Could not fault price or location for catching an early morning flight so that was nice.

This was the second and last time I stayed here. I am staying in hotels in Luton at least one day a week for work, and thought I d give this place another go, having stayed there previously (2-3 months ago). I requested a quiet room and was assured by the receptionist that the room would be very quiet as it was facing the backyard (Room No 1). Despite reassurances that this was a quiet room, the noise was unbelievable. Doors slamming every 5 minutes, people walking and talking loudly in the corridors from 9pm to 7am non-stop. I was waiting until midnight to see if things get more quiet, but it only got worse. As a result, and despite wearing ear plugs, I didn't get any sleep. You could still hear the slamming, even with earplugs. There is absolutely no noise insulation anywhere in the building, so even if someone slams a door upstairs, you can still hear it. Apart from the terrible noise, the room was full of mould, the shower head was broken/displaced, the bed was uncomfortable and the blanket they provided smelled bad and was full of dust. I did not care much about the facilities when I booked it and accepted the fact that this is a cheap, budget hotel and not a 5-star, but at least, as a paying customer, I would expect a decent sleep. When I complained about the noise upon check out in the morning, the receptionist just said that next time they could give me another quiet room. I explained that there will be no next time. I regret not asking for a full refund on the spot, but I will do so formally and in writing, as this is a breach of contract. For now, the review should suffice and will hopefully help other customers make a more informed decision about staying here. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and would certainly not stay here ever again. Better to pay an extra tenner and stay in a proper hotel.

Close to city center; small room, but practical. Parking close by (300m). Rather cheap. Served the purpose very nicely for us. We stayed in one room by "the garden". It was very quiet, but we still could hear the planes one in a while.
