Sometimes you are told, 'oh don't stay there, it's filled with homeless people and drug abusers' ... well, okay, it's rare for someone to say that to you. When I mentioned that we would be staying here, that is what I was told. It may have been the case some years ago, but seriously good people of Yorkshire, you could...

Staff are pleasant, sad that we had to pay for the 2 nights. Explained when checking in could only stay for 1 night due to a family crisis but still had to pay for 2 :( Room was ok, a bit depressing and very odd pillows. Shower was nice room was clean with a full size fridge which was noisy,...

The hotel was fine - The room looked nice and very well laid out. The location was handy coming from the train station. The breakfast was also substantial. My issue was with the numerous ladybugs which managed to come in through a closed window. I had to contend with 16 of them over the course of the night. Upon check...

Everything was good about this place - easy parking, friendly welcome, efficient staff, lovely room, very clean, added benefit of a fridge in the room, good night's sleep, tasty breakfast with plenty of choice and good value for money overall. I'll certainly stay here again.

For the price paid, good hotel, decent breakfast and nice there is a late bar to have a drink at end of night if colleagues are with you too. Walkable in to the town centre and a good car park, which felt secure.

I booked this hotel for my son and I to stay in when we went to Huddersfield to attend the university open day. The price was extremely competitive compared with premier inn etc so wasn't sure what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised, yes it was not right in the thick of town, it was about a 15 min walk...

We stayed here for 1 night on the 22nd October 2016. The room was fine for the price we paid and we were pleased with getting such a cheap hotel last minute. However, this came with its flaws, the shower unfortunately made a terrible screeching sound when you turned it on, making it impossible to have a shower on the...

Stayed at hotel for a few days whilst on a business trip Breakfast was good, room was clean & comfortable and staff were helpful and friendly. Good location with short walk into town, plenty of on site parking. Internal bathroom had a damp smell to it but this is not uncommon in hotels, the staff wedged the door open during...
