The room was TOTALLY spotless, the bed was very comfortable, plenty tea coffee etc. iron, hairdryer and a fridge. It really annoys me to have to say anything negative about this guest house, but im always honest and... More

Stayed in the guest house while on a course. It was pleasant enough, the staff were polite and the breakfast was really good. Only thibg is it was noisy, the stairs creaked and were right above my room!

Stayed here over the weekend. The staff here are very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean with a comfortable bed. We didn't really have time to have breakfast but I'm sure it would have been nice. The night porter helped us out with a few things during the night and provided us with a fan when the radiator... I gave this hotel two stars as we had room two in the basement at the front of the hotel and we had a smell in the bathroom of drains, there was road noise from the busy main road and the room was small, especially the bathroom. The walls and floors are thin so one can hear noise elsewhere which for me... More

Clean cosy and welcoming. For a budget b&b it's excellent value. Breakfast is very good. Definitely worth the £5. I had a good night's sleep plus there is off road parking. Good news to I met the owner and they are expanding next door.

Came late one saturday and was still able to check in, the man on the reception helped me with my bags up 2 flights of stairs, Really comfy bed, nice, clean room. Only bad point was loud drunken guests coming in even late but that's hardly the hotels fault.

I booked in here for one night as it was very convenient for the town centre. The welcome was friendly and all the information relating to my stay was given. Even though I was travelling alone I was given a twin room with en-suite and it was spotlessly clean and comfortable with ample tea and coffee making facilities. Everything worked... More
