The hotel is amazing, the staff are helpful and very friendly. The view from our room was fantastic. We stayed on 2nd and 3rd February 2019 for a weekend away, the walks and views were stunning. Folkestone town seems to close early, could be the time of year.

I've stayed here a few times, and the Clifton is a really nice hotel. All the rooms I've stayed in have been comfortable. It's an old hotel so some of the rooms maybe have dated decor, but personally I think it adds to the character. The staff are what really makes the Clifton

Dear Chris Thank you for your review and the wonderful words of support and praise therein, this is very much appreciated. Martini never ceases to amaze us with his knowledge of sports, he can even explain the LBW rules that even I can understand...perhaps on your next visit, you can discuss his passion for Ice Hockey and the Stanley Cup. . As for the twins...well they do seem to bounce off each other at work and keep everyone on their toes..it is almost a different language in how they communicate!! Philippa who is the font of all knowledge (apart from sports which Martini specialises in) always puts our guests first as she is a real peoples person. I am pleased Maj & Terri with their happy dispositions at breakfast have created the right mood to begin the day for you...it is important to start the day well with a happy smiling face I am really pleased the team have created an environment that keeps you coming back and we look forward to seeing you again on your next visit to Folkestone Kindest regards Neil

Dear Guest The refurbishment was on the ground floor, which has been completed and we start with the bedrooms in December but we will be doing one floor at a time so there shouldn't be any impact on your stay I hope this helps ! Kind regards Neil

We have a few options for parking, there is a public car park just at the front of the hotel and we can give you parking permit for £2 a day, midday to midday the following day. There is also an underground car park and there is a pay and display machine (it's closed from 9PM-6.30AM). Also are parking spaces available nearby on the street. Please note parking it's free of charge from 6PM-8AM. I hope this helps. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to contact us. Best Regards Tommy Jr. Assist. Manager
