We stayed just one night here, but cannot fault it. Right from the start we felt welcomed by Sandra who explained all hotel policies clearly when she gave us our keys. It is only 5 minutes walk to the town centre and has a stunning view over the firth of Clyde. When we walked into town for dinner we saw...

Had a peaceful night here. Lovely location. View from room was outstanding. Think it was Mull room. Breakfast very good. Overall a god experience and would go back. Stayed in a bigger hotel nearby before and much preferred here.

Stayed here for 2 nights in August 2014. Friendly hosts, convenient location (only 5 minutes walk to centre of Dunoon), parking on site. Good, hearty breakfast. Small room, décor quite outdated but clean. Nice big lounge overlooking the sea. Poor television reception but only a problem if the weather is rubbish and you want to stay in and watch TV,...

We stayed in the room entitled "Mull" because it had a en-suite bath with shower and it was really very comfortable. Really nicely decorated in a simple monochrome black and white style it was spotlessly clean, and had a lovely "Ansell Adams" style picture over the bed which really complimented "the look". The bathroom was a little bit of a...

Our visit to Dunoon was for a family funeral. Sandra's welcome was warm and very helpful. The hotel is situated on the West Bay a five minute walk from the passenger ferry and is in a lovely quiet location . The views are fantastic. Thank you Sandra for your friendliness and your lovely breakfasts

A lovely old building. Our room top floor with a sea view........cant remember the name. On arrival we were greeted by Sandra and we were early but were allowed in. The room was quite a large one and nicely decorated and furnished. Bathroom was up a step which wasn't a problem as we have seen on some reviews. Adequate space...

Don't you think that small hotels like this need to know who is in and who is out, just in case of fire alarms. Posh hotels have key cards that clock you in and out but a small hotel like this only knows if you are in when your key is missing. ...... You would find fault with a five...

My husband and I were on our mini-moon, just married days before we found what looked like a quaint little hotel. We checked in and were shown to a sea view room. It seemed nice at first, Sandra seemed reasonably friendly and gave us advice on where to eat. The decor was very dated and slightly musty smelling. On entering...

A fantastic hotel with a view to die for-we live in the lake district so are used to good views but this was something else. Our room was comfortable, the whole place was spotlessly clean and breakfast excellent. Matt and Sandra were so welcoming and friendly and they know the area inside out so you are never short of ideas on...
