Excellent place to stay for divers. Great overall value. Rooms are a very spacious with en suite bathrooms and free wifi. There is a varied menu to pick from each day for all three courses and the food itself is of a good standard. The Mayfair is the best B&B available to divers.

This review is for divers. I stayed here for 11 weeks and it was fantastic!! If you want a dinner bed and breakfast deal this is the one, what you get for the money is brilliant. Comfy bed, your own bathroom, frequent room service, friendly hosts and a wide choice of really good home cooked food every evening. If it's...

I stayed in The Mayfair for a long weekend before Easter. It was exceptionally comfortable and fully met my needs. I was very impressed with the selection of meal choices of 6 starters, 12 mains and 6 or so deserts and best of all was the roast dinner every Sunday, nice big plates full with all the trimmings :) and would not be left feeling...

I spent just about 3 months at the Mayfair before spending a further 3 weeks in various B&Bs in different parts of the UK. All I can say is that in terms of price, presentation and quality The Mayfair topped them all. The rooms were clean, spacious and allowed for natural lighting as well as ventilation. The food, I'll just...

At first sight, it looked cosy, a real homey feeling, And the owners really make you feel at home as soon as you arrive, the room was spacious and very comfortable. Although I was the only guest at the time, nothing changed, the...

I stayed at the Mayfair for just over 2 months. The hospitality of the owners was great, and the food was very good. Home cooked meals, and plenty of them. It is about a 15min walk from the town center, along the waterfront. Will def stay again if I'm ever up this way.
