If you want to relax and appreciates the suonds of sea, waves and nature, this is the place to stay. Both Linda and Rick are very welcoming and friendly. The house is clean. The sea and beach is just outside and forrest and hills just around the corner. 5 min walk to the town. I'm very pleased with my stay...

When I first arrived, I was greeted by Rick and his "good" lady, I say that with the utmost sarcasm as the deathly stare I received from her was quite unlike anything I've experienced. I at first found Rick to be pleasant however after spending some time in the property I soon found Rick to be an arrogant, critical little...

Arrived after a long journey from Liverpool and was greeted with Rick who was very fast to help us with our bags. Rick escorted us around the hotel and showed us to our room which was immaculate, it had a lovely sea view to wake up to every morning along with a fantastic cooked breakfast. would defiantly go back. bravo

The location is fantastic, straight out of the garden and onto the promenade. Great for the kids as no need to worry about traffic. It's only a short walk into the centre of the town. The hosts were so welcoming and couldn't have done any more for us and the breakfasts were superb. Last but not least the residents lounge...

The traditional type, family run Guest House has a great location abutting the see front and close to the town centre and ferry terminal. Rick and Linda are very enthusiastic hosts who want to look after their guests and make them feel most welcome. Our room had a fabulous sea view, was clean tidy and very generously sized. Everything is...

We were excited about our trip to Dunoon, especially my husband who had lived there as a child. As a family of four, we were so happy to be able to stay in one room together as most other places required two separate rooms. Rick and Linda greeted us upon arrival, helping with our bags and explaining how the B...

My husband and I got caught in the worst storm I can remember, in December 2011, and I also got injured. We couldn't get home either by road or ferry, so were stranded in Dunoon with our dog. We went to this hotel in order to try and just bed down for the night and try and get home next...

We spent a very pleasant three days here, with Rick & Linda, who from arrival to departure were excellent hosts. On arrival, we had a very detailed review of The Bay House, and were left in no doubt as to how it functioned. Our room had a view over the Clyde, which was only affected by good old 'Scotch Mist'...

This hotel has quite a dated feel about it, although was very clean and had nice views of the water. It stands in a row of very similar looking hotels, all with identical small gardens where guests can sit out overlooking the sea. There is nothing wrong with that but I prefer something a bit more individual and modern. The...
