Tremendous hospitality, Jackie and Ray are perfect hosts, so caring, informative and helpful. Safety first during this pandemic, we felt very safe there. Breakfast was exceptional, room spacious, so well furnished, immaculate and had great sea views. We were so very happy to have found such an exceptional place and if back in Dunoon would always stay there.

Due to the pandemic, we decided to risk a week in Dunoon rather than on the overcrowded beaches of South England. We were very lucky as it turned out to be a mostly sunny week. But our pleasure was hugely enhanced by our stay at the Cedars Guest House. Jackie and Ray have been wonderful hosts and fully deserve 5 stars for the care that they provide. Very nice and comfortable room, with a nice sea view, top quality breakfast, extremely kind and helpful hosts, and a wonderful region with many opportunities for hiking and even swimming. A very good plan for one week of 'staycation'.

visited dunoon 13th aug 2020 for a few days with my daughter, we where met by jackie who sat us down and explained how the social distancing would work in the guest house, we went to our rooms which where lovely but all the usual info had removed we where asked about a time for breakfast which we where happy with but we where the only 2 having breakfast at 10, jackie did have other guests about 4 in total but we did not see any other guests a bit weird but we both felt very safe in that environment and jackie had gone out there way to make guests feel safe and comfortable will defo return hopefully under better circumstances enjoyed our time and also the weather was brilliant

We recently had an overnight stay in Dunoon and stayed at Cedars guest house. We chose the Guest House because the excellent reviews we read....we were not disappointed. We were welcomed on arrival by Jackie . Our room was very comfortable with a sea view. Breakfast was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.It was Clear throughout our stay that all necessary arrangements were in place due to the current situation and that made us feel very comfortable for our first trip away since lockdown. Thank you both for the warm welcome.
