The accommodation needs a little care and our nights were disturbed by noise from the bar. Our last night was the worst with what seemed to be a group of people including staff in the bar all night including loud music. They were still there at breakfast, noisy and somewhat drunk. Not a place to re-visit for us.

Stayed here on Saturday night last for an event in the area next morning, don't be put off by the outside some updating need. The inside of the Bar is clean and welcoming, had dinner there when I arrived and was good Irish pub grub, the chef Mary could not been nicer and more accommodating. Billy the server was polite...

Needing accomodation for a family event in the area at short notice, we chose the Bit & Bridle mainly for convenience. We were pleasantly surprised by the warm cosy atmosphere throughout the accomodation. Travelling in Ireland at this time of year there is always a concern that rooms are used infrequently and may reflect our damp climate (especially when travelling...

This is a great country pub and Pat is the perfect host. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Not 5-star but nor is the price. Had a few pints in the bar, a game of darts and pool or two and all the while a great chat with Pat and the locals before retiring. Breakfast was delicious and as a local...

Stayed at the resort nearby but wanted something more 'real' for our last dinner in Ireland and this was it. At about 6pm we were the only guests in the pub but received excellent service from the bar maid Claire. So friendly and nice to chat with. Dinner was available but there was no choice just big plates of turkey,...

Called in for lunch.Very pleased we did.Although the surroundings were very average the warmth of welcome by the person in charge, and other customers was very real. There was a fair choice of meals.I had a lasagne which was really tasty. My wife's portion of fish and chips was large. Both meals were beautiful and hot. If you are there...

We stayed for one night. Just like the subject says the bar was really nice and we had a great breakfast. The Irish brekfast was one of the most tasty breakfasts we had all over Ireland and Northern Ireland as well. Unfortunately our room was not very tidy and the house was a little too clairaudient. We just woke up...

Stayed here for two nights as we were having a party weekend in Tipp Town. Our first time here - and we were very impressed. The room was very nice (6 of us stayed in 3 rooms , all the rooms were lovely) spotlessly clean and nicely decorated. The service was fab - late breakfast (a HUGE plus after a...

Firstly, The Bit and Bridal has recently been taken over by new management. It is located less than a five minute walk from Limerick Junction and on the main Limerick - Waterford road. This is a great little stop off and especially with free parking. The food here is lovely and they are good sized portions. They do a great...
