Beautiful Grade 2 listed town house right in the heart of Hay on Wye. The house has stylish, vintage furniture and a relaxing, spacious guest sitting room, with games, DVDs and a wide range of drinks available. David and Julia took over running Radnor House in early August 2018, and we have been treating all our guests to a very warm welcome to our beautiful period property - with lots of little extras like fresh coffee and cakes in the room and a range of high quality toiletries for your use. We even supply paper bags so guests can take out cake and biscuits on your days out! We can give you lots of information about the town and countryside - with all of its many restaurants, cafes and shops within easy walking distance. Each morning starts with a lovely choice of huge cooked breakfasts and a wide selection of fruits, yoghurts, fresh juices, and homemade breads, cakes, and cereals etc. Contact us directly for the latest information on special deals!

Without doubt, one of the best BnBs we have ever stayed at. In the centre of Hay, with everything walkable. The room was spacious and luxurious (room 1) and the pillows were so luxurious. Beautifully decorated and the floorboards were lovely. An efficient fan also available. Bath was stunning and so large! Lots of nice touches - including homemade cake on arrival. Breakfast was sublime. Honestly one of the best I have ever had - the monk’s recipe sausage was OUTSTANDING! Fresh ingredients and flavours and so much we were still full by tea time! Covid-secure with ability to have no interaction if you’d like to with both breakfast and check-in. Car park for over 24 hours for £8 just next door. Some light noise from pub opposite but not in any way detrimental for our stay.

I booked this without realising it was a vegetarian breakfast, but I had to say it was hearty and delicious. The Glamorgan sausage (breadcrumbs, leek and cheese) were really good. There’s a vast array of options on the breakfast menu (you pre-order online the night before). Our room (bedroom 1 on first floor) was very comfortable (super king bed) and had a big bath with was great for a relaxing soak after our long hikes. The host David was very helpful before and during the trip, and went out of his way to make us feel welcome. Hay-on-Wye is a delightful town (I’d recommend a walk along the river to “The Warren”. Very happy with our choice of town and particularly our choice of B&B.

Probably the best B&B I have ever stayed in. If you don’t like historic buildings and the noises (footsteps etc.) that go with them then don’t stay here. However if you love old buildings and a fantastic breakfast then stay here! The decor and furniture were perfectly chosen for the building and the staff extremely friendly and attentive. Wonderfully comfortable bed and great roll top bath. Breakfast was vegetarian but if you aren’t veggie don’t let this put you off - it was excellent. Strange to rave about things like mushrooms, tomatoes, coffee and eggs but the quality of the cooking and ingredients shown throughout Cannot rave enough about how brilliant this place was. (Keep up the great work!)

We stayed two nights whilst walking Offas Dyke. Highlights: The most comfortable beds imaginable Great bathrooms, blissfully high pressure shower. A real fire to relax beside.... Above all the hospitality from the owners, Julia and David, was magnificent. Nothing was too much trouble and felt perfectly at home. They deserve an award for setting a new standard for the UK hospitality industry. This is a "destination" property in its own right. It's quirky and offers up a sense of occasion. Being in such a beautiful town and right on the Offas Dyke path makes it incomparable. Thank you for looking after us so magniicently!
