This hotel is great, we stayed in the family room with our two small children. the room was nicely furnished and furbished. Beds were comfy and clean. The bathroom could've done with a power shower, but it was fine running the shower from the bath. The staff were friendly and helpful and took the time to chat to our children...

This is a hotel where you have to experience first hand to understand the tardis like scenario of where you enter a pub and end up in a upscale spacious (BIG) luxury hotel room that has all of the essential ingredients for a perfect getaway - Central heating, key less entry, sky, wi-fi, silent night sleep, cleanliness and hot water....

Brilliant room for a family of four. Clean, tidy and comfortable. We arrived late Friday and were greeted by the staff who helped with parking as it's like a game of Jenga but works. Live music, great atmosphere and very friendly staff. I definitely recommend staying here.

The Queen's Head Inn has multiple rooms off a courtyard to the rear of the pub. All rooms appear to be recently renovated to a good standard. Our room showed many signs that someone had really thought about how to use the space effectively. Parking is tight, but manageable. Breakfast was just fine. My interactions with management showed all to...

We stayed for one night. We were greeted on arrival and guided into a parking space, which was very helpful as it's a bit tight for parking. We were early so had a cuppa in the bar before going to our room. The pub is very old but the accommodation block is quite new whilst being totally in keeping with...

This is a large traditional pub with all the entertainment you could wish for. The place is very lively and friendly there is a good selection of ales all served in wonderful condition. I feel this is a place for a jolly night out rather than a quite drink but the place is well worth a visit.

Buxton is a town of two halves with the uptown section around the market place somewhat down at heel and a world away from the gentility of the Pavilion/Opera House area. This is a great option though - reasonably priced at £75, clean and close to the brilliant Cheshire Cheese pub and Scriveners bookshop. As a pub itself, it's Ok...

However the staff are doing everything in their power to prevent my falling into the abyss that is a conciquence of my abused liver. They are very friendly, very accommodating, and the rooms are decent. Cosy, but very comfortable. The pillows provided a very good night sleep and the bathroom was modern. The shower was great. Tanith was an absolute...
