We stayed at the Hotel on a Friday & Saturday, and what we were disappointed with was that no toiletries were provided, and our room was at the top of the building ( 203 ) as our ages are 75 and 72years we thought that we may have been allocated a room lower down as the hotel was not full,...

Thank you I am glad you enjoyed your stay. Each room should have bath and shower gel, shampoo and soap in, if this was not the case this was housekeepings error and should have been picked up by them for which I can only apologise, had you mentioned it to us at the time we would of course rectified this....

We got a Groupon offer for this hotel for one night with an evening meal and breakfast. At the price we paid it was excellent value., Very friendly staff, very good food and everything you would need to hand. On the down side we were not aware just how 'dog friendly' the place was - guests with dogs at the...

Thank you I am glad you enjoyed your stay. We do not allow dogs into the restaurant - we let them eat with guests in the bar and lounge. We have had one dog in the restaurant recently and that was a guide dog in training (it even had its uniform on!) we felt this was a necessary exception.

We visited for a night on the Groupon dinner, bed and breakfast offer. This was excellent value. As per other reviews the hotel is dated and old fashioned but the food, service and location gave us everything that we required. We arrived before the 2pm checkin and were welcomed to use the toilets and park up whilst we went for...

My wife had been checking her emails and said to me did I fancy a night away in Buxton? Why not I said as I cannot remember either visiting Buxton or staying there before. My wife had happened upon a "Groupon" deal for a bed breakfast and evening meal for both of us for £65.00. Having quickly checked "trip advisor"...

My Husband, 6 year old daughter and I Stayed for a couple of nights after booking via a Groupon deal. I'll start with the good points....people were friendly, but just doing their job and not going out of their way to give better service, and the food was nice. We arrived just after 6pm, the few parking spaces available were...

We were on a Groupon & very much enjoyed our stay here. We had a twin room (No 102) which was a lovely bright room, comfy beds , the decor was simple & a tad basic, the en-suite was small but fine. The only complaint about this room had light curtains with no black out. Our meal was very good...

This hotel is only 2 star but they like to keep it that way! They are worth more. Ok, they don't have room service or paper tissues in the rooms. What do they have! The beds are very comfortable. The food is delicious. The staff are great. They have a car park, and you can leave your car if you...

This was the first hotel we have book via Groupon but we found it fantastic value. This is a Dog friendly hotel and they even set up our dinning table in the lounge so our dog could stay with us. The evening meal and breakfast was excellent. I read the previous reviews about it's decor but as we paid to...

We stayed three nights in two single rooms early August. The hotel is excellent value for two stars, in a quiet road but very close to the centre of town. Rooms very good and the food too. Would recommend it.
