We stayed at Roseleigh for the weekend as it was highly recommended by friends who live in Buxton. It completely lived up to our expectations! Lovely room, very tasty breakfast, warm welcome by Gerard and Maggie who were very helpful.

We have recently spent six nights at the Roseleigh and a memorable stay it was. But first the town of Buxton which was a good choice for visiting the Peak District. Not only does the town have historical connections (the Queen of Scots stayed there before she lost her head) but it is a spa town, with some good restaurants,... More

My wife and I spent the bonfire weekend here. We had a lovely room with a view over the lake. Very friendly reception, no problem parking, an attractive property. Both the breakfast and the service was very good. We didn't sleep well though, found the bed on the uncomfortable side.

Stayed 2 nights here, greeted by Gerard, who was very pleasant & helpful, our room was cosy, spotlessly clean with a very comfortable bed. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate & biscuits in the room, plus lovely toiletries in the bathroom. Good choice at breakfast, plenty of information about Buxton & surrounding walks, really nice staff & beautiful views to the front... More

We were completely charmed by the loveliness that is Rosleigh Guest House. Our hosts have clearly invested much to make the place first-rate, and it is warm, welcoming and elegant. Our under-the-eaves room was spacious and comfortable, with a large en-suite bathroom. The services were excellent, and although we didn't have time to make use of the library, it is... More

We were warmly welcomed to The Roseleigh by one of the owners, Maggi when we arrived and directed to our en suite room. We were in room 9 which was on the second floor. It had a dual aspect and we had a beautiful view of the Broad Walk, Victorian gardens and the lake from both windows. The room was... More
