Another wonderful stay at Fernydale farm. We had two nights stay in the family room, and my parents in the double room. This was our second stay and just as good as we remembered ( my parents 8th stay). Loved seeing the cows and exploring around the farmyard to see all the calves. Great breakfast as always and just like staying home from home. Yasmin as ever was so welcoming and everything was prefect. Views were amazing each morning especially my eight year old twins watching the cows go out into the field each morning. Lovely to wake up to the sounds of the cows getting ready to be milked. We will return again

We didn’t really know what to expect from a working dairy farm, but was pleasantly surprise, we had one of the front rooms which was excellent and very clean, and spacious, we didn’t get there until 6pm and they were just in the process of getting the cows in for milking, which was nice to see, and at 745am they take the cows out to pasture, which got my wife out of bed… the breakfast was one of the best i have had and equally my wife enjoyed the Derbyshire oat cakes, which aren’t cakes… we loved our stay there that much we booked for longer next September and will be going back again before that hopefully

Fernydale Farm is the ideal location for a few nights to stay in the Peak District. We had a lovely clean room with an en-suite and very comfy bed. The room had super views across the farm to the surrounding peaks and beyond. The breakfast was lovely, everything was plentiful, of great quality and very well cooked, Yasmin is very welcoming host, helpful and making you feel valued. A great place to stay.

We had the best 3 night stay here. Myself, my husband and 10 year old son were made to feel so welcome by yasmin and her family/farm staff. We felt like we were staying with family. We stayed in the family room which was clean, comfy and had everything we needed. We could use the dining room and conservatory and garden too. My son loved playing on the swing in the garden whilst looking at the views, and stroking the rabbits, guinie pig and cows. We were able to meet and feed the cows and calfs that were born during our first night and my son loved it. Breakfast was delicious I am lactose abd gluten free and Yasmin catered for this which is brilliant. Thank you, We will be back

Had a lovely weekend at Fernydale Farm. Very clean, beautiful views and great breakfasts. Yasmin and co were so lovely it felt like we were staying with family. There are lots of walks which can be done from the bed and breakfast - we went up the public footpath by the old pub in the village and it was a 5-10 minute walk to spectacular views. Already looking at when we can stay again! Thanks so much

Stayed 2 nights in July 2021. Ideal b and b as a base for cycling trips, if you don't mind hills. Bikes left in barn overnight. Clean and comfortable, excellent breakfast, good value. Yasmin was interested and helpful. A working farm, avoid if you don't like cows.

Fantastic 2 night stay at Fernydale Farm. Yasmin was a brilliant host, nothing was too much bother, with cake and ample supplies of tea! Room was lovely and clean and number 4 has a beautiful view of the peaks. Lovely breakfast with lots of choice. We also enjoyed a tour of the farm and loved hearing more about the livestock.

This B&B is simply wonderful!! I would recommend it again and again. Yasmin couldn’t do enough for us, she was so welcoming and was really happy to share lots of information about the local area. Yasmin provides all anyone could wish for at Breakfast and we were full for the whole day! This is a hidden gem, and a true opportunity to get away from it all... thank you Yasmin!

We had a lovely weekend staying at Fernydale farm. yasmin went out of her way to make our stay special. Our room was clean comfrotable and warm. Ther was a wide selection of choices for breakfast which was cooked and presented very well. Yasmin aranged for our evening meal reservation at the Royal Oak which provided very good food at reasonable prices. Yasmin is very proud of her dairy farm and cows and we had a guided tourwhere she showed us her cows which was an unexpected treat. If you want to stay in a quiet part of Derbyshire with outstanding views where you will be looked after then i would recommend Fernydale farm. We will be returning soon.
