This has got to be the Best place we have ever stayed!! We have never had such a warm, helpful and friendly welcome as we received when we arrived. The decor is outstanding and when I sent a picture to my daughter she said the bedroom looked even better than mine at home - and I love my bedroom!! It...

We have recently returned from a five night stay at Barms Farm, our first farmhouse B&B holiday. Lorraine and John who are an extremely hard working couple made us most welcome at their first class establishment nothing was too much trouble for them. The bedroom was superb, large and most comfortable, the residents lounge was very nice spacious and comfortable....

We have just returned from 4 nights at Barms Farm, and we can't recommend it highly enough. All rooms are furnished to an exceptional standard, and kept to a better standard of cleanliness than many expensive hotels. The levels of luxury in the bathrooms are very impressive, heated LED lit mirror, superb power shower that's hard to drag yourself away...

Lorraine produced a clean and friendly place to stay. Good food. For me personally, I like a bit more privacy at breakfast as we were involved in other guests stressful situation conversations both mornings and didn't get a chance to relax or wake up slowly it that could be down to my husband's chatty nature as well. Comfy beds with...

Many thanks for posting so many positive comments following your two night stay at Barms Farm and for recommending Barms Farm for a "getaway treat" - we sincerely appreciate all our guests opinions. For future reference, I personally think you will struggle to attain 100% privacy within any guesthouse or b&b where more than one letting room is available. Our...

Just spent a very relaxing 4 days at Barms Farm and we highly recommend this wonderful B&B based just a mile from Buxton. Spacious rooms with luxurious bathrooms, TV and comfortable big beds with high quality bed linen and towels - rooms all kept spotlessly clean by Lorraine. There is also a guest lounge available and use of washing machine,...

We only stayed the one night at Barms Farm and wishes we could have stayed longer. We had a warm welcome from the friendly hosts on arrival who showed us to room 2 of 2. The B&B is half of their farm house with separate entrance, lounge, and breakfast room. Residents also have use of a fridge with fresh milk...
