What a fantastic find, 5 star all the way nicky and b are great hosts and the cooked breakfast is superb the whole cottage is beautiful you will be hard pushed to find a nicer b and b we will definitely be back hopefully when corona is done and dusted..
Nicky & B are a very accomodating and warm hosts. The B&B is a very cute cottage with a luxury feel. Its gardens next to the river are relaxing and quaint. Nicky's breakfast is very tasty and our hosts could not do enough for us, always making us feel comfortable. A good, peaceful night's sleep. I couldn't fault our stay, would definitely recommend. Just the place to stay for that much have needed break. Located in a very scenic part of the Peak District. Beautiful walks close by. Rooms extremely clean and well appointed. Hosts very welcoming. Breakfast is top notch with gluten free options available. Would highly recommend staying at Angler’s Cottage.
Stayed here for 4 nights with my husband as a ‘get away from it all’ break to do some walking and photography in the Peak District, and it was just perfect as a base for doing this. Our room had everything we needed including a wonderfully comfortable super king size bed. There was everything you could possibly want for breakfast, although we opted for the full English each morning to set us up for the day ahead. Nicky and B were great hosts and it was lovely to sit at the breakfast table and chat with fellow guests before setting out each day. The Monsal trail is literally across the road and it’s a lovely walk along the disused railway line to the pretty town of Bakewell. Other scenic locations in the Peak District are an easy drive away and four days wasn’t really enough to explore the whole area so would definitely return for another stay and recommend this place to others.…
Me, my wife a two friends have just spent a wonderful night here. The bedrooms are beautiful and tastefully decorated as is the whole house. Nicky and her husband are first hosts too. The area is very peaceful and quiet and a good nights sleep is guaranteed with the lovely king size bed, down quilts & extra large pillows. The breakfast cereals and various fruits and yoghurts are great starters to a fresh to order cooked breakfast served with fresh orange juice, coffee/ tea and toast too. (Need another rest now) The garden is well maintained and is at the side of the river with lovely seating too. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and will definitely return.
