I run a biannual Model Railway event and a number of my continental visitors asked for a recommendation for a guesthouse. I had no hesitation in recommending Fairlawns as have situated friends there before over a period of maybe 20 years. None of them have ever had a bad word to say about any aspect of the welcome, accommodation, or...

Fairlawns Guest House is ideally situated to visit the attractions in the Oxfordshire area.The accommodation was very clean,morning breakfast well presented,and the manager most helpful and pleasant. We will definitely stay here again when we next visit Oxfordshire.

Very nice and clean guest house excellent service as we only booked last minute, very good breakfast with plenty of tea and coffee , Very clean room and all ensuite, only downside would be the smallish car park,

The guest house is extremely clean with good beds,linen & pillows. Large room with en-suite. All facilities in very good order. Lovely breakfast with fresh coffee & good service. Road outside is very busy if you are a light sleeper.

We always stay here when we come to visit our son . It never disappoints ! Breakfast is yummy . Staff are extremely helpful and the rooms spotless . We will always stay here . It is just a short walk into town if you want to eat out

The staff, the bedrooms, the facilities and the atmosphere are all first class. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. We could not have asked for anything more. If you are visiting Banbury this is the place to stay.

We stayed here for one night last weekend, in the family room.There were 2 single beds and one double bed. The room was spacious enough to handle all 4 of us and there was attached shower and WC. The staff was courteous and helpful. They have a folder with menus from local restaurants which we found very useful for dinner....

Stayed for two night's while attending a family wedding in the area. Requested a ground floor room and rooms close together for four family members, this was met with and all three rooms were clean an comfortable. We stayed here just for the one night as we were seeing a band in Banbury. We had a lovely welcome and was given a voucher for their favourite Indian restaurant which was snapped up! Our room was very tidy but just a tad on the small side as it looks like the en suite was a recent addition. Breakfast...

Just visited the above for an overnight stay.The proprietor and staff were excellent service first class.We had a twin room which was spotlessly clean with a large en suite bathroom. Would,t hesitate to visit again
