#2 of 12 Speciality lodging in Banbury
Glamping Thorpe is a small glamping business run by myself Paul, and my 11 year old twins, we are situated on a small farm on the Oxfordshire Northamptonshire boarder, 4 miles from junction 11 of the M40. The 3 acre glamping field is very private, tucked away buy a small wooded area totally away from civilisation, perfect for a very private, minifest, or small celebration. We welcome couples or groups of up to 25 guests. Groups will enjoy the whole site completely to yourselves with no disturbances from anyone. Currently the accommodation is 4 quirky glamped up army trailers, 2 painted caravans and 2 large bell tents, the communal area is a 25'x20' arched tent complete with sofas, stereo, fridgefreezer and disco lights, with BBQ, firepit and pub benches just outside. Please call us or see glampingthorpe for more details. Hope to see you soon.

Paul and the kids really made our stay something special! From the moment he greeted us we knew we were in good hands and nothing was ever too much to ask The quirky trailers provided great and comfortable sleeping arrangements even on a windy night! The bell tents were also warm, spacious and came with some comfortable foam mattresses. The main tent was great as a focal point for the group and provided a nice space, fridge and sound system. The hot shower was also a great and unexpected bonus! We will definitely be returning in the future

Have just returned from a great couple of days with a group of friends at this excellent glamping spot. There was plenty of space for activities and games in the field, and at night the communal tent was great for playing music and hanging out in. Paul and his family were wonderfully accommodating hosts, often popping by just for a catch up and they seemed genuinely keen to make sure we had the best time possible. All in all, the facilities and the atmosphere created by Paul were perfect for a care free weekend with mates!

We hosted a few close friends for a weekend getaway at Glamping Thorpe and it fully exceeded all expectations. There were awesomely designed and quirky bunkers on site that, as we told the site Owner Paul, were incredibly comfortable! A few of our friends slept in Bell Tents which Paul also had and the foam mattresses included really were a god sent. The shower on site shocked us all by having hot water, and the compostable toilets worked out really well. The best part of the weekend really was how gracious the site owner PauL was - checking in on us to make sure we had everything we needed, and coming by in the morning to sanitise all communal areas, which we really appreciated in these COVID times. Paul booked us in a table at the local pub - The Three Conies - which is right across from the camp grounds through a large field, and the food and drink were so good. A perfect “field trip” for any campers looking to get offsite for a night during your stay.

Paul really knows how to create a relaxed environment. We recently when to Glamping thorpe for a mates birthday and couldnt have been happier with the weekend. The campsite was clean with daily rubbish collections. All the caravans were super comfortable with the communal spaces being clean and well equipped. Paul himself is charming, useful and most of all values his guests privacy. We couldn't have been happier with our stay. Thank you

Site was excellent, really well set up, secluded but with near by pub and our group was really well looked after, daily rubbish collections and check ins to see if we needed anything. The trailers were great too, very comfortable and despite it being a heatwave they were cool at night to sleep in. The central tent was great too with fridge and Good sound system.
