Very good location in the center of town. Outstanding service. Friendly and very helpful staff and management. Good size room and bathroom. Clean and quiet. I'll stay at the Mermaid again if I pass through Yeovil.

Attended Yeovil Beer Festival and needed a bed for the night within walking distance of the venue. Room was clean, comfortable and had all the usual facilities. Staff were friendly and helpful. Limited on-site car parking but overnight parking in street until 8am is allowed...More

A quiet but satisfactory experience right in the centre of town where one can be based to explore the delights of the town. A visit to the Ninesprings Country Park is recommended to walk off the effects of dinner, ready for Tea !!

As with all old buildings the rooms are a climb up stairs, the rooms are simple and a little dated, with limited amenities in the bathrooms. Quiet enough rooms and parking for 5-6 cars in their courtyard. Friendly staff, couldn't do enough for us, sorted...More

Visited at 1pm on a Thursday late December.....carvery opens at 12.30.. Seated....drink order taken,stood inline for food and told 20 min wait on meat....both choices unavailable ?! Not exactly what we’d hoped....returned to bar to be called back in....25 mins later now joined the queue...More
