Have always liked this Restaurant but were disappointed with our visit today. The food was usual Carvery standard but service left a bit to be desired. What really annoyed us was the difference between advertised price at roadside and that actually charged. In addition there was no indication anywhere that VAT would be added - with every other restaurant of...

We visited the restaurant last night for a get together for Christmas before it go too busy. There were 10 of us and we all paid for the carvery. We've always had a great meal but am disappointed to say that the cauliflower was more than aldenti, Yorkshire puddings were also rather hard and stuffing was very dry. When we...

My wife and I stayed the night and enjoyed the delicious carver in the restaurant. Our double room was well appointed with coffee, tea maker, biscuits and a lovely large bed, television, etc. We booked for the evening carver, not something we had eaten in a long time but decided to enjoy it anyway. The inexpensive price was the first...

Can't understand the previous negative reviews. Stayed here as working contractors w/c 24 October for 4 nights. Very friendly greeting from gentleman on reception who was very sociable throughout our stay. All staff at bar, kitchen and waiting staff super friendly and very efficient. Carvery was excellent as was the service. Our rooms were modern, spotlessly clean and serviced to...

I booked this hotel at the very last minute as there are limited places to stay in Worthing close to my companies offices. Never again! The greeting from the gentleman who I presumed was the owner was curt and non inviting and having to pay upfront before even seeing a room was more B&B than an hotel, Having got to...

Thank you for your comments. Apologies if the welcome was anything short of convivial that is what we strive to achieve perhaps that was a day when some distressing news had been received and one cannot always overcome these things immediately with a brave face no matter how one tries. Paying up front has become necessary as some guests have...

Used to the ok food here it is quick and easy meal for us. The service was shocking. We were shown to our table quickly but he lady didn't ask if we wanted drinks she just walked off. We waited 10 mins and despite staff walking near the table no one came over or seemed to hear us calling them...

We went for lunch without a reservation and arrived at about 1:30. We decided on a main course and dessert and the main course was not very impressive as it was cold. When we tried to order dessert we were told that the restaurant with closing shortly and we were too late for dessert

Lovely room, nice breakfast enjoyed my stay. Very pleasant place to stay. Restaurant was nice and food was good, friendly staff. Over all nice place. I would definitely stay again when I'm in the area. Only stayed one night due to working in the area.

Stayed for two nights in September. The room was reasonably spacious. The bed was comfortable as long as you stayed away from the edges. Venturing to the edge you could feel the springs poking through. The towels had seen better days as did the furniture. In the bathroom there was a crack in the window. Shower was nice and powerful....
