Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We had our organisation's Christmas Party which included 40+ bedrooms. I have received some of the best feedback I have ever had from an event. The food, the quality of the bedrooms, the friendliness of the staff and the overall look and feel were outstanding.

My teenaged niece and I have stayed at The Mount several times over the past couple of years. My niece has autism, and staff at the hotel are always understanding and helpful to us. Everything goes smoothly during our stay. Thank you for making it all as stressless as possible. We have stayed in other hotels that are cheaper but they do not have the same excellent high standards.

Excellent service with superb historical surroundings, probably one of the best hotels I've stayed in the U.K. The location is excellent commuting to W-ton town center and heading West into Shropshire.

Unfortunately our stay was not as we expected (comfortable and relaxing) and on first appearances the hotel appears nice and the room looked nice… but looks aren’t all that; the experience and the comfort is what is important and it failed on that. And cleanliness left a lot to be desired. Thick dust on the bedside lamps and furniture - not good if you have dustmite allergy and it doesn’t take much time to run a duster over furniture to stop the accumulation of other people’s dead skin cells (which is what dust is) The toilet was leaking - there was mould visible in the bathroom and on the net curtain in the bedroom. There was pubic hairs we saw which clearly had not been cleaned away. Now I was hoping for a good night sleep as the rooms look very nice on appearance- but my goodness I had a bad back the next day as the bed was so worn out the springs stick in to you and it’s clearly in need of replacement. I did tell reception and again on checking out I told the lady that our stay had not been refreshing or comfortable - awful in fact as the bed was so worn out, sleep was disturbed as there was a loud noise in the early hours coming from the floor above… aswell as tossing and turning because the bed was so uncomfortable. I did email reception too and they said they’d ask the manager to contact me - well it’s been over 2 months now so they clearly don’t care once they’ve taken your money and you’ve stayed. Clearly don’t want to take constructive feedback or improve for the comfort of others who will be unfortunate to sleep in worn out beds and be in dirty rooms.

My 2nd visit to this stay in this hotel while doing some medical work at a nearby facility. It was suitable for me with a warm cosy room despite very cold and frosty weather outside. I welcomed the hearty cooked breakfast that arrived almost at once when i came into the dining room at 08:00hours on a weekend morning. Good internet in room ... Excellent dinner in dining room on prior recent separate visit Lovely building of historic quality. Very helpful staff. Good car parking HOT TIP... I located the switch over the door of the ensuite bathroom in bedroom to turn off the annoying fan successfully. Look above the toilet door to locate it for a good night's sleep This hotel seems to host many functions etc. There is a gym and golf facilities .. Located in a nice surburb of west side of Wolverhampton ... I am likely to come back again and again

Very nice stay with only 2 weak points. Too much people and noise at the bar for dinner but even worse is the very unpleasant old lady at breakfast asking me 3 or more times to pay it because it was not included. Maybe my face look like a thief .
