I needed a quick hotel and managed to get a really good rate on the suite which they had left when I called up to see their availability. Could do with a spruce up but friendly staff. Good position in town, just out a little. Bed comfy and sheets clean. Would return with an offer on the room rate.

The staff are friendly and helpful however they have nothing to work with... The wi fi is weak when it works ( 1 out of 4 days) , the lift broke down, the rooms had no power for a day, meaning also the key cards don't work, and the 4th floor looks and smells like a disused youth club from...

The bed was aweful, the carpet and bathroom were not clean. We ended up leaving after an hour and going to a premier inn. When we told the girl on reception we were leaving she was not at all surprised. Save yourself the bother and book somewhere else!

Although a nice welcome, from an indian girl at reception, was very disappointed overall. Had a room on 4th floor, which was supposedly executive style. Went through what looked like a function suite to get to room, after a very slow ride in an elevator dating from perhaps the 30's... Water stains in the roof, lights out, flies in the...

Two choices of decor off white paint walls or wood-chip, both in a poor condition.front of house gives you the impression it's not bad but then you walk up the stairs and it all changes, my room had some heat but still felt cold and dirty. The restaurant I did not sample so can't comment. Would not stay again or...

Well the accomodation was definately not worth what we had paid for, i have stayed at other hotels around the UK. The food was quiet expensive and small portions so the following day we dined at the restaurant few doors away called Spiceland. At least there we did enjoy our meals.
