Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

As a lone female this is too isolated. The walk into town may only be 10 minutes but it is not a pleadant area to walk around alone. The taxi drivers describe the area as very rough as did the police officer who kindly walked ne around from the train station. The Aircon was not working for 2 nights and it was cold. The Internet is atrocious and did not connect most of the time. The lift broke down. The food at the adjoining pub is below average and the staff at the pub are inconsistent and frankly one male member of bar staff was very surly and rude when I pointed out the discrepancy in the differing charge for the same drink on 3 separate nights. He needs some customer service training. The lady who I think is the Supervisor is very helpful and pleasant. The reception staff at the hotel are very good indeed. The rooms are as you expect from a Premier Inn. Clean, comfortable and perfectly adequate

Arrived at hotel to find it was closed and advised to contact alternative hotel 5 miles away. Hard when you’ve arrived on foot! Apparently Premier Inn had changed my booking - without confirming it was convenient - to the hotel 5 miles away. WARNING - Future bookings are still being taken on the Premier In. Website yet the hotel is “closed till further notice” and no indication if/when it will open again. AVOID at all costs

Great little hotel, with incredibly friendly staff- the only drawback was that our door to our premium room didn’t lock; we were moved to a regular room, but one of our breakfasts were comped because of this. The very kind staff leant us a power adapter, as we forgot to bring ours. Would highly recommend this hotel!

Hotel itself was good, clean and comfortable. Car was stolen from the car park overnight. Turns out others had been stolen in the week as well, staff were not at all surprised when we told them. So if you valve your car I highly wouldn't recommend staying here.

Hotel closed and no info from premier inn to inform us. Arrived and its a building site. Note on door to contact another hotel 5 miles away. Reason we had booked here was walking distance to family at Christmas but they said no compensation would be available? We didn't pay cheap either and there is no customer service. No email etc to tell us booking had been changed ? Never again and I was a loyal customer

Very good location and the staff are friendly but the site really did require a refurb. There's premier plus which is new but the premier standard rooms are very outdated, it was giving very old Care Home or borderline Britannia vibes. The ground floor was blocked for construction so they may be changing the rooms currently but it's currently definitely all changed. It does provide a different experience in terms of stay.

Easy check-in and friendly staff. Room was warm, clean and good wifi. I needed to work for a short time in the room and needed to be in walking distance to town/bus station. Very happy and will visit again (next time in West Midlands)

Stayed at this Premier Inn to attend a Kim Wilde concert in Wolverhampton, it’s in a good location just off the ring road and was a 10 minute walk to the venue (The Halls) plenty of safe parking and although they charge for it it’s £3 for 24 hours, hardly extortionate as per a previous review. We ate at the Bluebrick next door to the hotel, both evening and breakfast meals (Very good and I’ve left a separate review for that) The hotel itself is a standard Premier Inn, it was clean, warm, staff all very helpful and polite. We are staying there again in March for another concert and look forward to returning….
