Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I’ve been staying here at the Warrington travel lodge whilst no accommodation and whilst being here I have been so well looked after, the rooms are as expected for travel lodge accommodation and kept routinely very tidy with cleaners that do an excellent job.
The front reception staff and management have been my favourite part of the stay.
All around this hotel is the best option for anybody looking to book close to town centre facilities.

Very accessible and appropriate positioned for a hotel.

10/10 Thankyou Warrington travel lodge team.

I found the hotel to be clean and the staff helpful.
Carol on front desk sorted my parking issue out as the parking is no longer free and is managed by an outside company with cameras and ticket machines so beware!!
Supplied me with an iron, ironing board, fresh towels when I asked, coffee and milk topped up no problem. Even ordered me a local taxi to take me to the wedding reception, all the staff were smiley and helpful........overall a pleasant couple of nights stay on a Fri & Sat without being woken by any noises mentioned in other reviews and the shower had plenty of hot water and I was on the 2nd floor at the front of the hotel overlooking the main road.
Would I recommend this hotel to anyone else......yes I would 👍

With hotels like Travelodge, there's usually a consistent standard so I do not tend to worry about the room, cleanliness and facilities. This one matches all the standards I'd expect! Even with the easy town centre acesss and main roads nearby, it's quiet enough for a good night's sleep. On top of that though was Carol on reception who checked us in. She had that enthusiasm that doesn't always come as standard with hotel staff. Check in was easy and it came with a big smile. She took an interest in why we were here which is always nice. While I was in reception, I noticed she was going out of her way to help another guest too - way beyond her call of duty. When you consider the price, this place is amazing value for money!

This is the dirtiest Travelodge I’ve ever stayed in and I’ve visited quite a lot .When I walked in to the room it smelled of stale smoke even tho sign says no smoking had to have windows open which made room freezing cold . Bathroom very grubby hair on toilet seat and one in the bath whole of bathroom needs replacing . Also booked a room for 2 adults only have one bath towel and one hand towel what is the point of this are we supposed to share towels or go down to ask for more . Just give enough towels in the first place . You have to pay for parking which is annoying . I’ve stayed here before and booked in error I immediately called customer service to change for another hotel in Warrington was told could only change date and not hotel don’t see what the problem is doing this if your booking another room with them and there is availability and your willing to pay extra . The only positive is the lady on reception was lovely very friendly and helpful . Just avoid there are a lot of travelodges and premier inns in the area and the ones I’ve stayed in are all far better than this one

We booked this as a rest point driving from Portsmouth to Scotland.

This was the 1st time 9and last) I have had to pay for parking at a Travelodge!, the sigange giving instructions on how to pay are in black letters on a dark blue background, slightly hard to see in the dark!

Young lady on the desk tried to be helpful but had little knowledge of the surrounding area.

No information on local area e.g. places to get evening meals, breakfast etc.

2 vending machines and a very slow and creaky lift.

Bathroom was very clean, bedroom carpet less so, needed a good steam clean and vacuuming.

I had used travelodges some years ago, they were always clean and pleasant places to stay, if the rest are anything like this I'll never use travelodge again.

The Travelodge was within a 5 min walk of Warrington town centre. As with all budget hotels you get what you pay for and this was great value.
The hotel had limited free parking but even at £5 a night for those who couldn't get into a free space the cost was not bad for 24 hrs!
The water pressure in the shower was low but ample for a wash.
Suzie, the receptionist was a star and gave us a warm welcome and went out of her way to be helpful.
The hotel delivered on the traditions of a Travelodge Hotel with clean and comfortable rooms at a great price

The hotel is in a convenient position in the centre of Warrington. Upon arrival, the receptionist was very helpful checking in and the offering of cold bottled water was very welcoming. The room was clean and fresh with the curtains closed to keep the blazing sun out. I enjoyed a full night sleep and my departure was seamless with a key drop off and another cold bottled water for my journey home. I would recommend this hotel and location to family and friends.

Me and my partner stayed for 2 nights checked in 24th march 23. We was checked in by a young lady called Gemma and all we could say on her she was a absolute delight had lots of local knowledge told us where to eat and where my wife should go shopping not to my liking (jokes)

The room was lovely and clean we were staying on the second floor facing the town centre, never heard an ounce of noise beds were comfy we had an excellent sleep, tea coffee sugar and plenty of towels in rooms. I asked for extra cups for juice not a problem was brought up within minutes.

Overall excellent stay would stay again without hesitation.

Stayed here this weekend for Neighbourhood Weekender, the manager Clare had made the hotel look fabulous with balloons and decorations, offered face glitter and provided free water and snacks. Clare also let us check in early for free to save us the stress at the end of the day and looked after our keys for us so we didn't have to worry about losing them at the festival. In a convenient location, easy to find and rooms were perfectly clean. Strongly recommend x

We were meant to have booked into Warrington Central Travel Lodge but booked Gemini in error. The Travel Lodge helpline could not change the booking.
However, when we arrived at Gemini, we were fortunate to meet Graeme the hotel manager and explain our predicament. Graeme was so understanding and kind. He arranged our transfer to Central and even amended our further stay in a weeks time. Without his intervention we could not have swapped hotels, and it would have cost us more in taxi fares too. His kindness was very generous and excellent customer service delivered by him and his staff. Check in was quick and smooth, Carol was lovely to us too. Suki and David Rock

You have probably sorted this now but, as said, look on the Travelodge website and look at Premier Inn. Both are fine in Warrington; what you would expect from this type of lodge/inn. Both clean, pleasant and quiet. Usually you can get good deals the further in advance you book. The Travelodge is the more central but both are easily walkable from the center and from the stations. (I stay in Warrington regularly for the Rugby League games.)
