Stayed in the Ticketing Hall of this Beautiful Converted Railway Station for the Weekend. We were very impressed with the sympathetic conversion and high quality of the facilities that were present. It was very comfortable and all your needs are met. Colin met us at the Cottage and he was very informative about the restoration and local areas. A project that...

Beautifully finished property - and clearly loved by the owners. All fittings and furnishings were high quality and everything immaculately clean. The front of the property was a nice area to sit out in and catch the morning sun - and equally to shelter under the station canopy when the morning rain came with the rainbow! The little path to...

We stayed for 2 nights in the Porters Office which I can only describe as 5 star luxury. From the moment we arrived at the station we noticed how lovely, quiet and peaceful it was, just what we needed. Jenny met us on arrival to show us around the beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean cottage. She also gave us lots...

We stayed for one week in the Old Booking Office, part of the Old Tavistock Railway Station Cottages, in June 2016. To see the beautifully restored station from the outside was impressive enough, but the division and internal work to make the old building into holiday lets is superb. The owners have tried to keep many of the original features...

We have stayed in both the Ticketing Office and the Porter's Office and love them both. Thank you Jenny and Colin! This is a good combination of old world charm and modern conveniences. And, you can walk to anything you need in town, or for a fun walk in the country. Tavistock is a great town to base out of...

This is a real gem and an experience that differs from the norm. Beutifully converted old tavistock Southern Region railway station a few minutes walk from the centre. Properties are well apportioned and very nicely fitted out and decorated. Welcoming host and information booklet covers all that is needed for a nice relaxing break. We would definitely visit again in...

Our cottage was perfect. Decorated tastefully and to a very high standard of hygiene and cleanliness. Excellent location too. We loved it. A three minute walk from the town centre. Tavistock is a beautiful little town with great restaurants and wonderful architecture.

4 adults spent 3 nights in the two bedroom cottage. The cottage was very cosy, and elegantly decorated with an amazing 'wet room' for the downstairs bedroom. All our needs were catered for, except the washer/drier didn't work, but our host was very generous and took our wet clothes and returned them dried and folded. The location was fantastic for...

Beautifully renovated and very comfortable accommodation. A warm welcome and lots of local info from Jenny and Colin. The property has a very interesting history, and has lots of original features. Great location, a short walk down to the town, which has lots of lovely restaurants. Lovely views and secure private parking, behind electric gates. The décor and furnishings are...
