We were reaasured by the good trip advisors reviews for Palmers Barn. However we found the state of repair and cleanliness very lacking in comparison to other b&b's we have used in the south west. In particular in our room I noticed; Black wooden floor alongside both sides of shower. Discoloured ceiling above shower Black marks above ensuite radiator Squeaky...

We had a great time staying here! David and Hanna where very friendly with a lot of humor. Sleeping and breakfast was also excellent. Environment is also very nice for walking. Cannot wish for more. Oh and David also thought me some archery :-).

Quick easy booking. The owners responded quickly via email to my wife's mobility concerns. Room was spacious and the bedding and towels were spotless. En-suite was adequate for a short stay. The owners were friendly and chatty with their local knowledge given readily. Breakfast was delicious. I would have no problem staying here again.

A countryside B&B, friendly hosts, superior poached eggs, none of the hassles with in-town parking but close to everything needed, and an on-site goat who ate anything left over at breakfast. You had to avoid hitting rabbits when you drove onto the property.

After an interesting drive through the lanes we arrived in the dark to a warm welcome, received good advice to discover a nearby pub, and awoke in the morning to a wonderful view and freshly pressed apple juice.
