Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A superbly comfortable farmhouse B&B. Hilary and Robert looked after us extremely well. They were very friendly, attentive hosts and Hilary's breakfasts were amazing! We couldn't have asked for more.

Home away from home but better! We have stayed at Beera many times now, we like many others who stay there think of it as our home when we are fishing the Tamar. However, we always feel special and welcomed just the same way we did on our first visit and it just gets better! A cosy sitting room to watch the rugby this weekend, fresh local produce at breakfast and a supper to rival any restaurant should you choose that option. Nothing is too much trouble. Thank you Hilary and Robert

A wonderful working farm offering fantastic accommodation. Beautifully decorated rooms, with lovely tea, coffee and biscuit tray. Lovely toiletries in the bathrooms. Immaculately clean and amazingly comfortable beds. The views across the valley from all rooms was fabulous. Wonderful breakfast with so much choice and all home cooked. We were arriving from a long journey to attend a family wedding that was being held locally. Hilary went to so much trouble to ensure our stay was relaxing and nothing was too much trouble. Exceptional and we look forward to making a return visit.

Wonderful location. Excellent en suite accommodation and menu to challenge any first class Restaurant. Friendly family service . The farmhouse is a working sheep farm but the farmhouse itself is adjacent to the farm and the latter does not intrude upon the accommodation- except to say that in the mornings, one is woken to the sound of sheep. What more could one want from this idyllic situation. Bring your own wine as there is no alcohol licence but there is no corkage charge. Cannot recommend more highly except to say that the less people aware of this treasure the better for me!

Room Tip: Parking at the farmhouse. Typical Devon roads to approach but not too far!

Absolutely superb. Hilary and Robert are gracious hosts. The views from the B&B are gorgeous. The rooms are clean and cozy. The breakfasts and dinners, both, will be among the best meals you'll have during your stay in Devon. We could not recommend Beera Farm more highly. Say "hi" to to the sheep and pheasants for us.

We have stayed at Beera many times, and each stay has been marvellous. Hilary and Robert are such warm, welcoming hosts - and as a chef, Hilary is right up there with the best! Beera always weaves its magic, whatever time of year. It is a lovely house set in beautiful, tranquil countryside. The rooms are very well appointed, and I guarantee you will sleep well!

Beera Farmhouse is a wonderful spot to enjoy peace and serenity. The views are stunning. I stayed with Forest my cockapoo in a very cosy warm room which had everything i needed from warm tea before bed to a dog bowl and dog bed. The bed was large and very comfy. Lovely hot shower with great amenities. Hilary offered impeccable service from before arrival. The breakfast was simply delicious. I left feeling cared for and ready for the journey home!

We have visited Beera many times and always enjoy the superb hospitality which Hilary and Robert provide. There are a couple of things I would like to focus on here. First, we enjoy simply sitting outside the house and admiring the views. The countryside is so peaceful and verdant. The flowers around the seating areas are glorious and vibrant and it is lovely to hear the birds singing. Second, Hilary's attention to detail and hygiene is second to none. You will feel the same reassurance about cleanliness around the farmhouse as you would have done at the height of the pandemic. In short, standards here are the highest in every respect!
