This is a exceptional bed and breakfast. Quirky and unique. Traditional building with wonderful hosts , with stories and excellent recommendations for things to do and eat. A must stay for anyone staying near the area.

The host Chris was more than welcoming. Both helpful and very polite. Very attentive to every need. The room was spotless and the bed was pleasantly comfortable. The room was very quirky and had lots to offer including; a mini fridge that was stocked up with sparkling water as well as still.

Andrew You seem to have booked about five minutes before you arrived and your booking did not get through the system to me until the next morning: I cannot be held responsible for events beyond my control. I am sorry for the experience but it was beyond my knowledge at the time: I would have been delighted to welcome you... More

I was greeted at the door and shown immediately to my room where the facilities, including a mini-fridge (for still and sparkling water), tea and coffee facilities (including milk in the fridge), a personal bath and shower, and a television were shown to me with a promise of more of anything if I needed it, all I had to do... This is a complete and slanderous misrepresentation of the truth especially that booking.com did not speak to me and it took a day or so to sort out the mess and I secured a full refund for you. I have never had such a rude and inconsiderate response for all the help I gave you to find suitable accommodation. Fortunately... More

I was made to feel very welcome and on arriving I contacted Chris the owner as I couldn't find the property. Chris provided details and agreed to meet me and then even took me to park my car, which is literally a 2 minute walk away from the B&B, which is very secure and tucked away. The B&B is amazing... This is the anti-thesis of a big chain hotel. A "one-off" historic building, full of character, including that of the friendly owner. Close to the centre of town, with secure parking nearby (as the crow flies at least).
