Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Considering the cheap price, the hotel is fine. Very much a budget hotel but no real issues with the place itself. However, the staff were woeful. Three times I needed to speak to someone at reception or get a drink from the bar and each time I had to wait for 10-15 mins for someone to appear. The reception, bar and entire lobby left completely staff-less. When I did finally get someone to serve me, the young lady (who was nice enough), clearly had never poured a pint of beer in her life. It got to the point where I asked if I could pour my own. Pretty laughable when you're paying nearly £6 a pint. On reflection, maybe the exceptionally cheap rate justifies such a non existent service.

I have been a regular guest at the hotel over the last 15 months (70+ nights whilst working with a local business) and have always found the hotel & restaurant staff to be friendly, helpful & courteous. Rooms are reasonably priced and there is a large carpark offering free parking. Occasionally the carpark and hotel have been very full with a combination of business, trade and tourist visitors but this has not been a problem during my stays. The bedrooms and bathrooms (showers, plenty of hot water) have always been clean with fresh bed linen & towels. The self-service breakfast options are varied & plentiful with freshly prepared hot food as well as “continental breakfast” options. Overall, stays at the hotel have been a good experience.

Stayed here last week intail booked 3 nights but left after 1 night probably the worst hotel I have had the misfortune of using the overall outside of the hotel was pleasant don't judge a book by its cover and all that but once entering dread gut me the place is dirty carpets are stained a young man showed me to my room which was all I can say was like a joke the bedding was dirty and that was just the top sheet that I could see I didn't get to discover the rest I had seen enough I insisted to be given a alternative which was frankly no better by this time u needed to get some shut eye up in morning early and left prompt never again
