Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A truly wonderful B&B, great location, quiet, immaculate rooms, great quality Breakfast, good wifi and wonderful hosts. I've stayed in many B&B's and this is the absolute best. I feel very lucky to have stumbled across it.

A gentleman & lady Tim&Sue who are kind and helpful. Myself, sons and friend, could not find fault. I felt like i was at home not in a b&b. The rooms are modern and clean with spacious on suite. I slept through a severe thunder storm, which for me, shows what a good nights sleep I had. I will without any hesitation book this place again, if in area.

I've now stayed at Hillside a couple of times and can't recommend it highly enough.

The first stay I had my partner and baby with me. Up until recently, my partner was an infection control nurse for one of the major Sydney hospitals and so spent her life assessing everything for cleanliness. Her first comment when we arrived was that "this place is amazingly spotless!" - a compliment indeed coming from her.

On top of that, the beds are very comfy, the rooms of a good size, the bathroom modern and luxurious (always love a soft close toilet seat and heated towel rail!), there are tea making facilities in your room and the cooked breakfast is excellent with particularly tasty sausages! The owners are also delightful and very helpful.

It's also in a very pretty area with some exquisite "cotswold like" villages scattered around including the nearby picture postcard village of Ravenstone.

Greeted by Tim when we arrived who insisted helping us with our cases and explained the layout of the B&B. We had an en suite room. There was a shared lounge and kitchen facility. The facilities were very good, everything worked correctly and the rooms were clean and nicely decorated.
Tim even drove us to our local destination in the evening.
The cooked breakfast was very good and there were choices of fruit and cereals.

Tim and Susan were great hosts.
The room was very well appointed and comfortable and the breakfasts were superb.
The property is in a great rural location and very convenient for access to the M1.
We would highly recommend Hillside and look forward to staying again on our return to the UK

We picked this accomodation because of the 5 star rating. We were not disappointed and enjoyed the sole access of the b&b which was an added bonus. Tim and Susan provided an excellent service. The smell of the Full English breakfast was a delight on Sunday morning. Not your typical b&b !

Modern extension to their home, this B&B was outstanding. The rooms were equipped with twin beds which we appreciated since we were 4 men traveling together for a reunion. The owners are extremely friendly and accommodating, the country sitting was very relaxing and quiet. Would love to stay again.

Tim & Susan set out to offer B&B in a home form home setting, this they have accomplished no problems! The standard of furniture and fittings is well above the norm, modern and most definitely 'homely'.

I have stayed on several occasions over the past couple of months, breakfast is second to none as indeed are Tim & Susan they are the perfect host's.

I would recommend Hillside to anyone you will not be disappointed, give them a try.

If you're looking for a B & B in a lovely village location but close to Milton Keynes, then look no further. The guest rooms are in a new extension to the main house with their own entrance. The quality of decor and finish is great with a modern yet homely feel. Guests also have use of a kitchen, sitting room and their own patio overlooking fields. The owners, Susan and Tim, are very friendly and welcoming. What more could you want??
